We had such a fun night with our friends! We both rented the family cabins which were on opposite ends but the place is small so not too far apart. Our seven kids had an absolute blast swimming and finding pretty rocks in the creek and warming up in the hot tubs. We also loved the sauna after our cold plunges in the river! The outdoor kitchen was a nice surprise. The beds were so comfy. Can’t wait to come back!

What a special find! I booked this on a whim, just needing to get away from the city for the night and left wishing I had more than one evening.All of the staff we interacted with, including one of the owners, were extremely friendly and accommodating. The camp is pet-friendly, and our dog, Jackie, was in absolute heaven. She loved the creek and enjoyed getting in the water. We especially loved the hot tub.The cabins face the creek, and are up on a bank, so they all have a great view of the water. We ended up spending the morning at the picnic table with our coffee and playing cards and enjoying the sounds of nature.I was pleasantly surprised by all of the thoughtful details on the property, such as a well-lit path to the creek, very nice bathrooms with showers, chairs, a cooler, and lanterns in the cabin, and my favorite: the hammocks!!!We will definitely be back.

My husband and I spent a few nights at Camp Ferncrest for a little weekend getaway before we welcome our baby boy to the world & we absolutely LOVED our time!First of all, It was very easy to locate, was right off the highway and we were provided with great instruction on where to park and how to access our Tent.Right away we met Gary, who was the kindest groundskeepers and was so incredibly helpful during our stay. We really enjoyed meeting him!The entire property was very clean and well kept! The tent was darling and really it was perfect for us and our pup. The bed was comfortable and all the accommodations as well. I was grateful I didn’t have to pack any towels or even shampoos/soaps because that was all provided. The bathrooms, although not attached to the tent, were very clean and well kept!I loved that our tent had a little area connected to it with our own personal area for cooking over a fire pit and the hot tub. We really enjoyed that though it was a “glamping” experience, we still had to “work for it” a little bit regarding cooking over a fire and heating up the hot tub with a fire as well. What an experience! And truly the hot tub got up to a great temperature (with a little time) and it was so worth it (same as the sauna!). We appreciated the option of using the microwave in our tent, but didn’t end up using it. All the firewood was provided and the fire starters were very helpful! We didn’t need to go into the weekend with a ton of camping experience or even gear.We had a beautiful view of the creek and direct access. Our dog LOVED playing in the water and I’m sure we would have enjoyed the water just as much as he had if we were there in the summertime. We even saw some beavers and otters there!It was such a peaceful place and we loved being able to use the hammocks that were already set up before our arrival. There was plenty of space for multiple families, but we practically had the place to ourselves which we didn’t mind!Overall, we had a wonderful weekend at Ferncrest. We can’t wait to come back and are telling our friends & family about the place too!

Exactly what we needed: peace and quiet along the spring fed creek. My husband enjoyed starting the wood burning hot tub and the Sauna while I read my favorite book sitting at the large panoramic window facing the creek. Cool temperatures with a steamy sauna and hot tub experience is the best! King bed was comfortable, slow pour over coffee upon waking and refreshing showers all made this a perfect couples getaway.

10/10 recommend staying here! My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights and were met with the best accommodation! Upon arrival, Gary got us all set up with the fire and the hot tub. The owners were very nice aswell . Very beautiful camp site & scenery. We wish we could’ve stayed a week! We can’t wait to come back in the summer!
