The environment of Eagle Bluff Resort is described as "nice" by one camper who appreciated the location. The resort appears to offer more than just camping, potentially including access to a river suitable for floating, which could enhance the overall outdoor experience. For those searching for "camping near me" with opportunities for water activities, Eagle Bluff Resort's location along OK-10 in Tahlequah suggests access to the natural beauty of the region. However, it's important to note that one long-time visitor mentioned a decline in their experience since the new management took over, which might impact the perceived environment and overall enjoyment.
In terms of services, feedback on Eagle Bluff Resort is mixed. One camper specifically praised the "bathrooms," stating they had "never seen bathrooms like these ones on any of these campgrounds," and noted that the new management is "fixing and repairing everything." This suggests that efforts are being made to improve the facilities. Another camper found the "staff was very friendly," indicating a positive aspect of the service. However, a contrasting review detailed significant issues encountered, including being assigned occupied campsites, not receiving the electric and water hookups paid for, and experiencing long delays and problems with the floating activity. This review also mentioned overflowing and unsanitary bathroom conditions, contradicting the positive feedback from another guest. Therefore, while some services like friendly staff and potentially unique bathrooms are noted, there seem to be inconsistencies in the overall service quality reported recently.
The features of Eagle Bluff Resort seem to include a camping area and facilities for river floating. The fact that one reviewer had been coming to the "awesome camping area" for over ten years suggests that the location has historically been well-regarded for camping. The availability of river floating is another key feature, attracting those looking for water-based recreation as part of their "camping near me" experience. However, the recent negative review highlighted significant issues with the floating operation, including long wait times and substandard equipment. While the resort is under new management that is reportedly making improvements, it appears that some features, particularly the floating experience and potentially the campsite management, have faced challenges recently.

Eagle Bluff Resort Reviews
We camped so I don't know anything about the rooms. But the location was nice. I loved the bathrooms. I have never seen bathrooms like these ones on any of these camp grounds. Not too mention it's under new management and they are fixing and repairing everything. The staff was very friendly. We definitely will be camping and floating here this summer.
Apr 12, 2025 · Aprile MartinezEagles bluff has an awesome camping area and I have been coming here multiple times a year for over 10 years. We always stay in the late night camp and LOVED this place up until new management took over, we have camped with them 3 times since new ownership thinking they would get the hang of things but I was terribly terribly wrong! It has gotten worse each time. The last time we arrived in the evening and someone was in our spot, no biggie, we camped next to it that night. Office informed us next morning that we had to stay in family site. We get there and it is not electric and water (which we paid for), when I called they were very rude and tried to charge me again for electric and water....after they finally got us into a site they told us we missed our float while we were being moved site to site and could not go on the 12 mile we paid for. We even suggested doing half that day and half next and the lady was not having it. When we finally got to float the next day we had to wait 3 hours to even be taken to the drop off and then they had no rafts for another hour and a half! The rafts all had holes. The lady in charge at front desk does not care at all. The bathrooms were LITERALLY overflowing with feces and some had even went on the floors, there was puke everywhere. They kept telling us those bathrooms were being cleaned every hour but we could clearly see they didn't touch them ALL weekend at all. Worst experience ever!!!!! Sadly we are shopping for a new camp for this season!
Mar 06, 2025 · Stephanie ElliottThe bathrooms are large and clean! Very impressed. The staff was even accommodating when it came to switching our reservation. I normally go to another resort but Eagle Bluff was a nice change. I will be visiting them again.
Apr 13, 2025 · Vivian ArringtonNew owner and office staff were great!! They were very accommodating and super helpful. They have been upgrading the park and we cannot wait to see what all they do. We will definitely be back! 100% recommend.
Apr 06, 2025 · Jen OMy wife and I went for a night. They were open for primitive camping. Enjoyed the stay and the new staff. We will be going back. This is excellent weather to camp.
