The environment surrounding Finn Road Park offers a blend of natural beauty and convenient access to the Saginaw Bay and Lake Huron. The park itself is described as a "beautiful hidden area in this neighborhood," suggesting a peaceful and somewhat secluded atmosphere despite its accessibility. Reviews highlight the presence of "three different path walkways along the water," indicating opportunities for scenic strolls and enjoying the waterfront views. The proximity to Lake Huron is a significant draw, offering access to boating, fishing, and other water-based recreational activities. The presence of "many nice trees" within the park contributes to a shaded and pleasant camping environment, particularly appreciated during warmer months.
Finn Road Park Campground distinguishes itself as a "very nice well taking care of manicured RV Park." This emphasis on maintenance and aesthetics is evident in the description of each separate lot featuring a concrete or asphalt pad and a "nice grass area." This thoughtful design ensures a level and clean setup for RVs, enhancing the overall camping experience. The explicit mention that "no tents of any kind" are allowed clearly defines the park's focus on accommodating RV travelers exclusively. While the park was designed "many years ago," resulting in "typical small space for each RV," the well-maintained nature and the abundance of shade from the trees compensate for the potentially limited site size. It is advisable for those with larger RVs to inquire about site dimensions when making reservations.
The services and features at Finn Road Park Campground are geared towards providing a comfortable and convenient stay for RVers. The presence of a "well maintained shower and restroom" facility ensures that guests have access to clean and functional amenities. A pavilion offers a covered space for gatherings, picnics, or simply relaxing out of the sun. Families with children will appreciate the "play area for the children," which has been recently revamped with a "gorgeous" new playground, according to a review. This demonstrates an ongoing commitment to improving the park's facilities and enhancing the experience for younger guests.
A significant feature of Finn Road Park Campground is its convenient access to water-related activities. The park boasts both a "boat launch and kayak launch," making it an ideal location for those looking to explore Lake Huron by water. The "big parking area for excess parking of vehicles and boats" further supports this, providing ample space for trailers and extra vehicles associated with boating and kayaking. The campground's location "only around the corner from the boat launch to lake Huron" underscores this prime accessibility for water enthusiasts.
While specific promotional information is not included in the provided reviews, the high occupancy rate suggests its popularity. One reviewer strongly advises making reservations "in the beginning of the year for the weekends or weeks that you want to be there as it fills up quickly." This indicates a high demand, especially during peak seasons. However, the reviewer also suggests that it's worth calling at any time to check for openings or cancellations, implying that last-minute opportunities might occasionally arise. Local users planning a stay at Finn Road Park Campground should heed this advice and book well in advance to secure their desired dates.

Finn Road Park Reviews
Recently revamped the kids playground and it's gorgeous. Three different path walkways along the water or a bird view its just overall a beautiful hidden area in this neighborhood. It's got a boat launch and kayak launch plus there is a very cute campground nearby as well
Apr 26, 2025 · Sarah SullivanVery nice well taking care of manicured RV Park. Each separate lot has a concrete pad or asphalt pad and a nice grass area. It is very well taken care of. No tents of any kind. This park was designed obviously many years ago and therefore it's the typical small space for each RV. It is nicely shaded with many nice trees, a well maintained shower and restroom, a pavilion, a play area for the children a big parking area for excess parking of vehicles and boats as you are only around the corner from the boat launch to lake Huron. I suggest that you make reservations in the beginning of the year for the weekends or weeks that you want to be there as it fills up quickly. I wouldn't be afraid to call at any time to see if they have an opening or a cancellation that you might be able to get into. The host Ellen was extremely kind and helpful. This was the first time I've stayed at this park and I enjoyed it.
