Outdoor Adventures Introduce
Looking for the perfect camping escape near you? Outdoor Adventures, located at 800 Washington Ave STE 200 in Bay City, MI, offers a range of options for local users seeking a memorable outdoor experience. Situated within easy reach for residents of Bay City and surrounding areas, Outdoor Adventures provides a gateway to nature with various amenities and membership opportunities.
Based on information available, Outdoor Adventures presents itself as a destination catering to both seasoned campers and those looking for a comfortable cabin stay. While specific details about the environment of this particular Bay City location are limited online, the positive review mentioning a "beautiful property" suggests an appealing natural setting. It's reasonable to expect well-maintained grounds, potentially featuring natural landscapes typical of the Michigan region, such as wooded areas or proximity to water bodies, given its categorization as a campground.
In terms of services, the mention of membership tours implies a structured way to access the campground's offerings. Shawnie Smith's helpful and informative tour suggests that prospective members can expect a comprehensive introduction to the facilities and benefits. For those interested in "camping near me," Outdoor Adventures likely provides essential campground services such as well-maintained campsites suitable for tents and RVs. The review mentioning "cabins at a very reasonable rate" a decade ago indicates that lodging options beyond traditional camping may be available, catering to individuals or families who prefer more comfort and convenience. It is advisable to contact Outdoor Adventures directly at (989) 671-1125 or +1 989-671-1125 to inquire about the current availability and types of campsites and cabin rentals.
Features of Outdoor Adventures could include standard campground amenities such as restrooms, showers, and potentially laundry facilities. Depending on the specific location and the broader Outdoor Adventures network, there might be additional features like recreational areas, playgrounds for children, or even access to activities like hiking trails or water sports if the property is near a lake or river. The initial positive experience of a long-term member highlights the potential for a welcoming and well-kept environment. However, it's important for prospective local users to verify the current state of these features and amenities by contacting the campground directly.
The reviews also provide some insights into the membership aspect of Outdoor Adventures. While one reviewer found the tour informative and the property beautiful, they ultimately decided the membership wasn't the right fit for their lifestyle. Another long-term member expressed concerns about significant increases in rates and maintenance fees over the past decade, leading to a decreased ability to utilize their membership. This suggests that Outdoor Adventures operates on a membership model, which may offer various benefits and access to their network of campgrounds and facilities. However, it's crucial for local users considering a membership to thoroughly understand the terms, associated costs (including initial fees and ongoing maintenance), and the potential for future rate adjustments. The feedback regarding unsolicited upgrade calls also highlights the importance of clarifying the communication practices associated with membership.
For local users actively searching for "camping near me" or considering cabin rentals in the Bay City area, Outdoor Adventures presents a potential option. The initial positive experiences of some members, coupled with the availability of different lodging types, could be appealing. However, prospective members should be aware of the concerns raised in the reviews regarding increasing costs and the nature of the membership program. It is strongly recommended to directly contact Outdoor Adventures using the provided phone numbers – (989) 671-1125 or +1 989-671-1125 – to obtain the most up-to-date information on their current offerings, pricing structures for both membership and non-membership options (if available), and to inquire about the specific amenities and environment of the Bay City location.
To make an informed decision, local users should ask specific questions about the current rates for campsites and cabins, the details and costs associated with membership (including any potential for rate increases or additional fees), and the specific amenities and recreational opportunities available at the Bay City campground. Visiting the location for a tour, if possible, would also provide a firsthand look at the property and its environment. By gathering comprehensive and current information, local camping enthusiasts can determine if Outdoor Adventures aligns with their needs and expectations for a relaxing and enjoyable outdoor getaway close to home.
In conclusion, Outdoor Adventures in Bay City, MI, offers a local camping option with potential for both traditional camping and cabin rentals. While past experiences suggest a generally positive initial impression, prospective local users should conduct thorough due diligence regarding the current membership terms, pricing, and the specific amenities and environment of the Bay City location by directly contacting the campground.

Outdoor Adventures Reviews
Shawnie smith was awesome! She was very informative, personal and friendly during the tour. I never felt pressured to become a member. While this membership doesn’t fit my life, the property was beautiful.
Apr 25, 2025 · Crystal LWe bought a membership 10 years ago. It was great. The place was clean. We aren’t campers and the cabins were at a very reasonable rate. Now 10 years later and thousands of dollars later, the rates are very high. We can’t even afford to stay there. Not only that our yearly maintenance fees went up 50 percent in the past 10 years. We used to like going there. But now not so much now.4So we get a phone call from Outdoor Adventures about updates and if we have any questions. Turns out what it is they want to try and sell you and upgrade your membership. In this economic environment, they are asking people for more money??? Who has that kind of money? I can’t even imagine what a membership is now.I would love for Outdoor Adventures to let people opt out their membership without penalty. And also, after you’ve been a member after a certain time, your maintenance fees should be locked in permanently.Like I said we used to love going there. But now, we rarely even go there. That place used to be better.
Apr 28, 2025 · Jeffrey FisherRichard was a great sale person. Has a wonderful time with him. He is full of information! We'll worth joining.
Apr 26, 2025 · Dawnyel TraceyShady at best. We purchased a travel trailer from RV Dynasty and received a certificate from Outdoor adventure for 21 days of camping if we listen to a 90 minute presentation. When I went to activate the certificate I was told they would not honor nor activate it. SHAM. We were looking forward to looking at their sites as we already have TT Adventure package and we're looking for a compliment package. If they won't even honor a certificate promised to a dealership that contractually offers this promotion to their customers I wouldn't trust them with my vacation plans and definitely not give them any of my money. Stay far, far away! Ten thumbs DOWN.UPDATE: Spoke with Amanda, who is the manager, to get the issue with this company resolved. All talk and promises but never resolved as my follow up calls and emails went unanswered. This only proves my original review that this company is a SCAM. Stay far away.
Jan 14, 2025 · D & L Wandering FootprintsI’d give less stars if it was an option! This company is shady and I don’t recommend buying in! The salesman will tell you a load of lies including the intention to expand in Michigan so you sign the contract, but not provide the full disclosure that they will just turn around and sell half of the Michigan properties so they can expand in other states. They don’t keep up on the properties, and will ask for member options but don’t actually care to listen to them.Don’t bother with member services. They don’t care. They just prefer to interrupt you, tell you they aren’t breaking contract as their lawyers and the DA approved everything, and that you’re a liar and were never told things in the selling meeting. They are rude and send one thing in an email, then state it was a generic email sent to you by mistake. You’re better off spending your money at other campgrounds and exploring versus wasting THOUSANDS on this joke of a place!
