Fort Kearny SRA Campground Reviews
Some small and big camp sites with most sites having shade. No full hookups with a few locations to fill with water. Sewer dump site. Multiple restrooms with pay showers. The hike/bike trail crosses the Platte River and continues to the Archway and then to Kearney.
Jul 06, 2024 · Nate MollringWe love Fort Kearney for camping. Lots to do, we kayake, fish, they have a swim beach. The bike trail is awesome. It is paved and you can ride all the way to the arch and further. We rode to the arch, and it was a fun scenic ride all flat. We can take the dogs down to the river to splash and play. Lots of wildlife deer and turkey.
Aug 01, 2024 · Leah WagnerWe tent camped here in 2022. Three years later we still talk about it. Such a beautiful campground. So quite and peaceful.
Jan 04, 2025 · Linnea Nichols-BischoffWe have camped here many many times and we love it. Extremely disappointed in the absolutely miserable showers Spring 2024. In years past they were fine. There is so minimal water pressure this year it is difficult to even call it a shower. We tried the newer ones in the South East part of the campground Friday night and were so disappointed. We used the central showers this morning and they were no better but do at least have adjustable shower heads. I'd rate these showers a 0 out of 5 stars. Terrible even if they were free. Inexcusable when you factor in that you have to pay by the minute.
Apr 14, 2024 · John HansonCampground with several small lakes, large cottonwood trees. 30 and 50 Amp service available, and pay showers. It was a nice overnight stop for us while traveling.
