Based on the available reviews, Hidden Creek Campground (2017) offers a unique blend of potentially secluded campsites and attentive service, making it an appealing option for various types of campers.
One of the most striking aspects highlighted in the customer reviews is the availability of secluded campsites. For local users seeking a more private and tranquil "camping near me" experience, Hidden Creek Campground (2017) seems to cater to this preference. One camper specifically mentioned loving the "seclusion" of their site, indicating that while closer sites might be available for those who prefer a more social atmosphere, options exist for those desiring more personal space and a quieter environment. This flexibility in campsite selection is a significant advantage for catering to diverse camping styles within the local community.
The environment of Hidden Creek Campground (2017) appears to be closely linked to a natural water feature. The reviewer described having the creek flowing "just over the bank" from their sleeping quarters, emphasizing the "peaceful nights sleep" the sound of the water provided throughout their week-long stay. This creek-side setting suggests a serene and potentially picturesque environment, ideal for local campers looking to unwind by the soothing sounds of nature. The campsites themselves seem to be well-equipped for basic camping needs. The reviewer who stayed at a tent site with water and electric mentioned a "small shelter" that was "plenty big enough" for a picnic table, providing protection from both sun and rain. This indicates that even the more basic tent sites offer some level of infrastructure for added comfort and convenience. Additionally, the "firepit" was described as a "perfect size for consistent heat on those chilly nights," highlighting a key element for enjoying evenings outdoors during a camping trip.
For local users who enjoy different modes of transportation, it's worth noting a specific observation from a motorcycle camper. While they thoroughly enjoyed their stay and plan to return, they advised caution when riding motorcycles on the dirt roads during rain, as they can become "slimy." Hidden Creek Campground (2017) Reviews
I get that some people like to camp near others and party it up. While close sites are available for those that are into that, I absolutely loved the seclusion of our site. We had a pop up camper we pulled with the Harley and used a tent site with water and electric. We had the creek flowing just over the bank from our sleeping quarters and it made for a peaceful nights sleep all week long. The owner and his staff went over and beyond to make sure we had wood, food, and anything else we might need. The small shelter was plenty big enough for a picnic table for shelter from sun and rain. The firepit was a perfect size for consistent heat on those chilly nights. My only suggestion is if you're riding a motorcycle like we were and you had no other modes of transportation, be careful when it rains. The dirt roads get slimy, though there was pea gravel on most of it. I will definitely come back!

Sep 30, 2019 · Kim MartinWe had an amazing stay. It was like one big family there. We wish we could have stayed longer. Fun activities for everyone. Nice pool. One of the long term residents showed a movie outdoors for the kids. We will definitely be back.
Jul 25, 2021 · Gary EMy Partner and I came upon this Campground by accident. We had reservations, elsewhere, we went and didn't feel welcome! So we gave a try. Called the owner, Adam great guy! He told us he had a cabin for rent at a very fair price. But informed us that there was a band on Saturday and it might get a little loud. By the way the Band was Outstanding! Adam then came by our site and Welcomed us. He then proceeded to ask what cooking preference we had? He then came back with a swivel grate and hot pads for our fire pit😊 He then asked us about firewood. We told him what we wanted and he then delivered it to our site!!! I could go on and on. This place and these kind of people are hard to find!!! I highly recommend this family owned Campground. We will definitely be going back soon!!!!!!😊😊😊
