You can contact them at (856) 694-1690 or +1 856-694-1690 for more information. Based on the available customer reviews, Holly Green Camping Grounds offers a unique environment that might appeal to those looking for a peaceful and well-maintained setting, although it's important to note some perspectives on its primary use.
One reviewer described Holly Green Camping Grounds as a "great Place" that "seems like a quiet and safe place to have family and friends come over." This positive feedback highlights the potential for a serene and secure environment, which are often key considerations for anyone looking at "camping near me." The reviewer also noted that "the grounds are well kept," suggesting a level of maintenance and care that contributes to the overall appeal of the location. Furthermore, they mentioned that "the people who live here are great," indicating a friendly and welcoming community atmosphere.
However, the same reviewer also offered a crucial perspective for those specifically seeking weekend camping: "I would agree that this is more of a year-round living location than a campground, and I am just adding that because if people are looking for a place to camp for the weekend, this doesn't seem to be the place." This is a vital piece of information for local users browsing the "camping near me" category primarily for short-term recreational camping. It suggests that Holly Green Camping Grounds might function more like a residential community with some camping facilities rather than a traditional campground catering mainly to transient visitors.
Another review simply stated, "Pretty gorgeous place nice quiet." This reinforces the idea that the environment at Holly Green Camping Grounds is aesthetically pleasing and tranquil, which could still be attractive to individuals or families looking for a peaceful setting, even if the primary focus isn't short-term camping.
Considering these reviews, Holly Green Camping Grounds appears to offer a well-maintained, quiet, and safe environment with a friendly community. However, it's essential for local users searching for "camping near me" for weekend getaways to be aware that it might lean more towards year-round living. This doesn't necessarily exclude short-term stays, but it frames the context of the location.
To provide a more detailed introduction for local users, we can infer some potential aspects based on the limited information and the nature of similar locations. A "year-round living location" that also accommodates some camping might offer:
- Well-maintained grounds, as noted in the reviews.
- A quiet and safe environment, also highlighted by reviewers.
- A sense of community among residents.
- Potentially, designated areas for shorter-term camping, although this is not explicitly stated.
- Basic amenities expected of a campground, such as hookups if RVs are accommodated, though this needs verification.
Given the information, it's difficult to detail specific services or features aimed purely at short-term campers without making assumptions. Local users interested in Holly Green Camping Grounds for any type of stay should contact them directly to inquire about:
- Availability for short-term camping.
- The types of camping accommodated (e.g., tents, RVs).
- Specific amenities offered to campers.
- The overall atmosphere and suitability for weekend or short visits.
The "gorgeous place" comment suggests that the physical environment is appealing, which is always a draw for those seeking "camping near me." The quiet nature of the location could be particularly attractive to those looking for a peaceful retreat.
For local users in Monroeville, NJ, or the surrounding areas, Holly Green Camping Grounds presents itself as a potentially quiet and well-kept location. However, the feedback indicating its nature as more of a year-round living community should be taken into account if you are primarily looking for a traditional weekend camping experience. It might be an excellent option for those seeking longer-term stays or a very quiet environment for a short visit, but it's crucial to verify its suitability for your specific camping needs by contacting them directly.
In conclusion, Holly Green Camping Grounds in Monroeville, NJ, appears to be a well-maintained and peaceful community that may also offer camping. Local users searching for "camping near me" should be aware of the feedback suggesting it leans towards year-round living. If you value a quiet and safe environment and are open to a location with a strong sense of community, it might be worth exploring further by contacting them at (856) 694-1690 or +1 856-694-1690 to understand their offerings for short-term campers. This is a great Place and seems like a quiet and safe place to have family and friends come over. The grounds are well kept, and the people who live here are great. Mar 07, 2024 · Lea CastagnaI grew up here in the summers. My great aunt and uncle, Bob and Trish Martin had a permanent camp here for years as did my mom. So much fun swimming in the lake, playing in the game room and riding my trike bicycle. Grew up around the sons who now manGe the place and what a great family they have always been. So many fond memories of this place.
