Old Cedar Campground Reviews
I'm a repeat visitor to Old Cedar for many reasons. It's a quick getaway from where I live first. But most importantly, I'm comfortable there. It's not huge, commercial and overwhelming. The folks that run the place go over and above, are friendly, helpful and treat you like family. There's several options depending on what you want to experience and walking the grounds offfers great views and friendly guests. My last weekend there was peaceful and exactly what I needed. Very pet friendly and there are plenty of doggo friends and puppers. Thanks to the staff for another appreciated stay.
Nov 04, 2024 · Steve DWonderful helpful staff! Our first outing with the new camper and everyone was friendly! Clean and well kept. Will definitely be back!
Oct 12, 2024 · Michele BondiWe only stayed one night and enjoyed it. The staff was very friendly. They accommodated my late arrival and Liz even came over to check on us when we arrived. Definitely will stay here next time we're in the area.
Jul 17, 2024 · BrianI was originally a bit apprehensive reading some of the reviews especially in regards to the rules. We had no problems once we were there and had an overall pleasant experience with staff. We had a few people come and go during our trip and they only charged us they days they were there and made sure they had a place to park. The fishing pond provided a good source of entertainment and we were able to catch a good amount of fish. Sites were a bit small but we felt we had plenty of room while sitting around our fire at night. The only thing I can suggest to staff is that the pool entrance/exit doesn't really make sense. We weren't able to understand why you were only supposed to exit from the one side, the side that is further away from the campground. Also a sign pointing to the sign-in sheet would be nice. We didn't know you had to sign in at first luckily the pool monitor was nice enough to sign us in so we didn't have to get out of the pool. The min golf course is for sure out dated but it's a free amenity so really no complaints there either. Overall we had a good time and will likely be back.
Jul 28, 2022 · JJ EvansStaff was friendly; just be prepared for semi/weekend and very permanent residents scattered throughout. Absolutely nothing wrong with that, but not common where we live so giving a heads up. Quietest campground!Pool was well kept. Putting area is really old, but fun. We loved the pasture with cows! Also, know you might have a water hookup on the opposite side of your site.
