Hoodoo Point Campground Reviews
The owners were great. The campsites were also very nice. We were right on the water and everyone enjoyed the lake. I would give this 5 stars but the bathrooms were in very bad shape. Not cleaned for a long time. Two very dirty showers in women's but they share a dressing area so must be very close to use both stalls.
Jul 26, 2024 · Debbie CreaneyRandy is a very accommodating person. I ended up with a lake view site with electric. What a beautiful spot!!!Quiet and peaceful. Good size camping store for souvenirs and camping needs.Looking forward to returning sometime.
Sep 03, 2024 · Nancie NewmanGreat camping experience!Campground host, Randy went above and beyond with pre-arrival communication. Escorted us to our campsite and delivered firewood. We love the location and privacy of the sites! We will continue going back but will be sure to bring a fishing boat with us next time!
Dec 20, 2023 · Christina CooperThis is the worst campground I have ever seen. Bathrooms are outdated and dirty, the campsites are very badly maintained and have no privacy. The beach area is terrible, found beer cans in the water, the water is so muddy and dirty that you can’t see anything including the trash you step on. The place was so depressing that we couldn’t stay there. We left without the refund. We were told that this campground is owned by the city and if you dissatisfied you can’t dispute with the people that were running the place... They charged our debit card without any problems but couldn’t refund without the city approval.
Aug 20, 2023 · Elena KrugerAwesome first experience at Hoodoo!!! Very well kept campground! The couple that runs it are fantastic. When we arrived, he told us we had booked a crappy site so he moved us to a better one. He did indeed. We were right next to the bathrooms, showers, main office/convenient store. They have drinks, candy, ice cream, pizza, coffee, odds and ends. Not only were we close to the conveniences, we were right off the lake with a beautiful view of the sunset. Our spot was also huge. We had no problem setting up our large tent and fitting two vehicles on our spot. Highly recommend this place!!! Only downfall was that bathrooms could use updating but we had primitive camped the previous couple nights so indoor plumbing and showers were wonderful to have access to again haha
