Hosack Run Campground Reviews
It was our first time here and we loved it! Surprisingly quiet for a (pets allowed) campground. The bathrooms were clean, the available firewood and ice were reasonably priced. You can pick a site with or without electricity and water. Each site was conveniently close by the bath and showers. There is a playground for kids and some trails close by. See pictures for firewood and ice pricing.
Aug 26, 2024 · Thomas BoydLovely campground. The sites are very close to each other, and the shared bathroom and showers were very clean and stocked with toilet paper. They have firewood and ice at the front of the camp grounds with a useful dumpster. We used the camp grounds to visit and tour the Gettysburg area. We had a delightful stay and enjoyed our time at the campsites. If you found this review helpful, please give a 👍
Aug 13, 2024 · Jay MillerVery great place. We arrived at 10 pm (walkup) and paid in the morning. Pine trees, beautiful nature, not a single mosquito. Toilet and cheap very clean and nice. Next to the pool with a slide. We only paid $12 on our camp ticket. Highly recommend this place!🔥🔥🔥
Aug 07, 2024 · Margarita KalashnikovaBeautiful park. We stayed for 3 nights in our 23' travel trailer. Sites are mixed. Some gravel/dirt. Many level. Some sloped. Ours was mostly shaded, gravely with a paved pad, FHU. We were a few sites from the bathhouse. Clean. Clean. Clean.Hosack is the dog friendly part of Caledonia State Park, so lots of pups. The host seemed available for any issues and was visible a few times a day but not over-bearing. Lots of hiking opportunities. We'd stay again.
Sep 15, 2023 · Lynn BrantVisited Hosac Run Campground at Caledonia State Park. It's a beautiful park and offers a lot of hiking trails all around. There is a swimming pool at the campground. However, it was closed for the season. Our campsite was paved #142 full hookup. It was a tight turn to backin the camper. The campsite was pretty long but not that wide. There isn't much space between the neighboring sites(at least where we were) which also meant that the site next door's sewer hookup was near your picnic table. I wish they had planted some bushes in between sites for privacy. Other than that everything else about this location was great. If you like hiking, biking, you'll enjoy this location. Also, the campground seemed really popular among tent campers. The weekend we spent at the campground, there must have been more tent campers than rvs or travel trailers. The cell reception is poor. We have Verizon service.
