You pay via envelope when you arrive. We arrived on a late Friday afternoon and there were sites available. The hosts helped us get a beautiful site for our next two nights. We stayed in a tent. There is a lake and beautiful mountain views. Campsite number 3 is amazing. Most campsites are large and spaced well from neighbors. There are hikes you can take from the campground. The northeast entrance to Yellowstone is only about 30 minutes away. Cooke City is only about 15 minutes away.
