KB Country Camping LLC and RV Park Introduce
For local residents in and around Waynesboro, Georgia, seeking an affordable and conveniently located "camping near me" option, KB Country Camping LLC and RV Park, situated at 339 Neely Cir, Waynesboro, GA 30830, USA, presents a viable choice. While one review expresses significant dissatisfaction, another offers a contrasting perspective, highlighting the park's cleanliness, quiet atmosphere, and convenient access to local amenities and the Plant Vogtle job site. By considering both viewpoints, we can provide a balanced introduction to what KB Country Camping LLC and RV Park offers to prospective local campers and RVers.
The Environment: A Balance of Seclusion and Convenience
One reviewer describes the campground as "quiet and secluded," suggesting a peaceful environment that can be a welcome respite. This is further supported by the mention of it being a "pleasant place to come back to after a long day of work." In contrast, the negative review points to a less serene environment, citing "family surroundings the properties of the RV lot who have children riding 4 wheels under the ages of 10 going through the properties flying going 20 plus mph." This discrepancy suggests that the experience of quiet and seclusion may vary depending on the location within the park and the activities of other guests or residents.
On the positive side, the campground is noted to be "located conveniently close to local shopping and commerce" and a short 10-15 minute drive to Plant Vogtle. Its proximity to Augusta, just 25 minutes away, offers access to a wider range of amenities and attractions without the higher cost of staying directly in Augusta. The grounds are reportedly "kept clean" and the "yard is mowed weekly," indicating a level of maintenance that contributes to a pleasant environment, as per one reviewer.
Services and Amenities: Offering Essential Hookups and Facilities
KB Country Camping LLC and RV Park offers a range of services and amenities to accommodate both short-term and potentially longer-term stays, as detailed in one of the reviews:
- Full Hook-ups: The availability of full hook-ups is a significant advantage for RV travelers, typically including water, electricity, and sewer connections at each site.
- Laundry on Site: The presence of laundry facilities is a convenient amenity, particularly for those staying for extended periods or traveling for work.
- Multiple Payment Options: The campground extends "multiple ways to make a payment," offering flexibility for guests.
- Affordable High-Speed Internet: For those needing a personal internet connection, an affordable high-speed service is available for a temporary fee.
- Free WiFi on Site: The provision of free WiFi is a standard and appreciated amenity for most campers.
- Laid-Back and Understanding Owners (with Boundaries): One reviewer describes the owners as "laid back and understanding" but also notes that they "will not allow tenants to disrespect others or cause issues/discomfort to the others in the campground," suggesting a balance between a relaxed atmosphere and the enforcement of community standards.
The negative review, however, paints a different picture of the owners, describing them as "complete rude" and unresponsive to maintenance issues ("Never fixes anything within a week if not more"). This stark contrast highlights the potential for varied experiences with the management and their responsiveness.
Features: Affordability, Location, and Potential for a Quiet Stay
KB Country Camping LLC and RV Park offers a mix of features that may appeal to different types of campers:
- Affordability: The positive review specifically mentions it as an "affordable and nice place to stay" and a cost-effective option compared to staying in Augusta.
- Convenient Location: Its proximity to local shopping, Plant Vogtle, and Augusta makes it a practical choice for those working in the area or wanting to access the amenities of a larger city without the associated accommodation costs.
- Potential for a Quiet Environment: While experiences may vary, one reviewer found it to be "quiet and secluded," which could be a significant draw for those seeking peace and relaxation.
- Full Hook-ups for RVs: This is a key feature for RV travelers looking for a well-equipped site.
- Laundry Facilities: The on-site laundry adds convenience for longer stays.
- Internet Options: The availability of both free WiFi and affordable high-speed internet caters to different connectivity needs.
- Sense of Community (among residents): The negative review ironically mentions that "the current resistance are amazing and brotherhood and help when they can," suggesting a positive aspect of the existing community within the park.
However, the negative review also points to potential drawbacks such as lack of timely maintenance ("Never fixes anything within a week if not more") and poor ground maintenance ("Grass is never taken care off"). Prospective campers should weigh these contrasting experiences.

KB Country Camping LLC and RV Park Reviews
The owners are complete rude! They have family surroundings the properties of the RV lot who have children riding 4 wheels under the ages of 10 going through the properties flying going 20 plus mph. The current resistance are amazing and brotherhood and help when they can. The owner just sees money. Never fixes anything within a week if not more. Grass is never taken care off. Poorly experience all around.
Jun 20, 2021 · Martha HerringWe have been traveling for work for more than 10 years. We’ve stayed in this and 3 other campgrounds in the area upon returning here for work over the years. This is quite easily the best campground we’ve ever stayed in. It’s quiet and secluded. The grounds are kept clean. Yard is mowed weekly. It is located conveniently close to local shopping and commerce And a short 10-15 minute drive to the plant. It’s also just 25 minutes away from all that the Augusta area has to offer without costing a fortune to stay. The owners are kind, attentive and professional. They offer full hook-ups. There is laundry on site. They extend multiple ways to make a payment. Affordable high speed internet is available if you want a temporary personal internet service and there is also free WiFi on site. The owners are laid back and understanding. But they will not allow tenants to disrespect others or cause issues/discomfort to the others in the campground. The place is safe, and pleasant to come back to after a long day of work. If you need an affordable and nice place to stay near the plant Vogtle job site or if you’d like to camp near Augusta, this campground is arguably the best place. to park your rig.
