I have become a big fan of this campground. They have walk-in tent sites that go for $16/night and are easily booked through the park website. All have gorgeous lake views to sit and stare at. Each site is equipped with a well kept and very flat tent pad, fire pit, and a grill. There's a water tap sort of in the middle of the tent sites and they even have wagons for everyone's use to load in your stuff. The bathroom is a short walk and it has six individual single stalls with shower and toilet. Makes it so much nicer than having to jostle with a bunch of people waiting for an only semi-private shower. Love this site and looking forward to enjoying it throughout the year. There is plenty of hiking and a marina where they rent kayaks. The people I have encountered have been very nice and helpful. I like that the ranger walks through the site occasionally. Highly recommended for an escape into nature. - Jessica Coleman
