The environment at Lakeridge Camping & Boating Resort is consistently praised for its tranquility and natural beauty. Visitors frequently describe it as "quiet," providing a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. While it is not directly on the lakefront, Pine Flat Lake is incredibly accessible, being just "1/2 mile to boating," a short and convenient distance for campers. The resort is situated in a setting that allows for encounters with non-threatening local wildlife, such as "wild turkeys and cottontails," enhancing the natural experience. The layout of the campground suggests a well-maintained and comfortable setting, with sites designed to offer a pleasant outdoor living space. The surrounding area benefits from the typically sunny California weather, making it an ideal year-round destination for outdoor activities. The "nice distance from lake" allows for both easy access to water sports and a slightly more secluded, peaceful environment away from the direct lake activity, offering the best of both worlds for many campers.
Lakeridge Camping & Boating Resort distinguishes itself through its exceptional services and features, particularly its commitment to cleanliness and customer satisfaction. The most resounding praise in customer reviews is directed at the immaculate facilities: "This is a very well kept and very clean campground. The staff is helpful and personable. Bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen at a camping facility. Very comfortable setting." This consistent feedback on cleanliness, especially concerning the restrooms, is a significant differentiator and a major draw for campers. The helpful and personable nature of the staff also contributes greatly to the positive overall experience, making visitors feel welcome and supported. The resort caters to a variety of camping preferences, accommodating both RV camping and tent camping, though specific details on hookups (full hook-ups, water, electricity, sewer) would be best confirmed directly with the resort. Amenities often found in such resorts include picnic tables and fire rings at each site. Beyond traditional camping, Lakeridge also offers cabin rentals, providing an alternative for those seeking a more comfortable stay without the need for their own camping equipment. The presence of a resort-style name suggests additional amenities that elevate the experience beyond a basic campground, possibly including a general store, recreational areas, or communal gathering spaces, although these were not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. The focus on "boating" in the resort's name implies facilities or easy access to launch and store boats, which is crucial given its proximity to Pine Flat Lake.
The features that make Lakeridge Camping & Boating Resort a prime destination are directly tied to its location and high operational standards. Its primary allure is its convenient proximity to Pine Flat Lake, a large and popular reservoir known for its diverse recreational offerings. The lake is a haven for boating, including powerboating, waterskiing, wakeboarding, and personal watercraft. Fishing is another major attraction, with Pine Flat Lake being home to various species such as bass, trout, and crappie. Anglers can enjoy both shore fishing and boat fishing. Beyond water activities, the surrounding areas offer opportunities for hiking, nature observation, and wildlife viewing. The "nice distance from lake" means campers can enjoy a peaceful retreat while still having quick access to their water-based adventures. The overall "very comfortable setting" means campers can relax and enjoy their surroundings without significant disturbances. The strong emphasis on cleanliness and friendly staff creates a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits, as hinted by the "best camping experience" comment. This combination of a well-maintained property, amiable staff, and excellent access to a major recreational lake makes Lakeridge a standout choice for campers in the region.

Lakeridge Camping & Boating Resort Reviews
Quiet, Pine Flat Lake 1/2 mile to boating, very nice people.
Jun 20, 2020 · Donald MarstonBest camping experience. This a very well kept and very clean campground. The staff is helpful and personable. Bathrooms were the cleanest I've ever seen at a camping facility. Very comfortable setting. Nice distance from lake. We walked to the lake and saw nonthreatening wildlife like wild turkeys and cottontails.
Sep 25, 2018 · William RamirezFriendly Camp manager and great restroom facilities. Pine Flat lake is short walk downhill, but you probably won't want to walk back. Be careful if you are towing a boat because the roads in the campsite can be very narrow and steep.
Jun 06, 2016 · Chris LaLondeCampsite was amazing thanks to the host! Found us a very accommodating spot. Definitely would come back! It is perfect distance to the lake.As to the previous review left to the fat f*** complaining about us jetskiers he blasted heavy metal music at 7:30 am for 2 hours talk about not caring about all the other campers on the ground and yelling at people when they walked by. Sounds like they were the issue lol.
