This suggests proximity to a river suitable for canoeing, likely offering scenic views and a natural setting associated with a riparian environment. One reviewer mentioned a cabin with a "beautiful view off the back porch," further indicating a picturesque natural backdrop, possibly overlooking the river or surrounding woodlands. The presence of "beautiful, larger, two-story cabins" suggests a variety of accommodation options catering to different group sizes and preferences, all likely situated to take advantage of the natural surroundings. The existence of "beautiful, larger, two-story cabins" implies more spacious and potentially better-equipped lodging for larger groups or families. The campground also provides public restrooms and showers with "indoor plumbing," although one reviewer noted that they "weren't too clean" but "did the job." This suggests the availability of essential facilities, but with a potential caveat regarding cleanliness. Given its popularity for canoe trips, the campground likely offers some form of access to the river, potentially including launching or landing areas. The affordability of the cabins and floats, especially when split between a group, is also highlighted as a service benefit. Local users should contact Lazy Days Campground directly at the provided phone numbers to inquire about the specific types of cabins available, their amenities (bedding, air conditioning, kitchenettes, etc.), the condition of the public restrooms and showers, river access details, and any other services such as fire pits, picnic tables, or Wi-Fi availability.
The key features of Lazy Days Campground revolve around its location catering to canoe trips, the availability of cabins (including those with air conditioning and larger, two-story options), and the affordability for group stays. The "beautiful view off the back porch" mentioned by one reviewer is a significant feature for some of the cabins, suggesting a scenic and relaxing aspect to the accommodation. The indoor plumbing in the public restrooms and showers, while noted for cleanliness issues, is still a convenience for campers. Lazy Days Campground Reviews
Great location for our group to stay on our canoe trip. Our cabin had beds and even had a window unit air conditioner. The public restrooms/showers weren't too clean, but they had indoor plumbing and did the job. There are also a few beautiful, larger, two story cabins as well. Would definitely recommend.
Nov 07, 2023 · Jason MillerI've camped there in the past, but just stayed in one of the cabins this past weekend. It was very clean and had a beautiful view off the back porch. We had seven adults, so the cabin and float were very affordable split between us.
Jul 04, 2024 · Paige BarrowsStayed here for a weekend float trip. Rented a one room cabin which worked fine for 2 people. Air conditioning worked great and there was plenty of room in the fridge for our food. There is one lamp, no wired electricity, we used a second lantern for more light. Community bathroom is just behind the office, very close to the single room cabins. Location is great and staff was friendly.
Aug 03, 2022 · S DExcellent time at Lazy Days Campground. Craig was nice and helpful, Sandra and her kids were very fun to talk with, entertaining and accomodating. Friendliest staff i can remember. Rafts, kyaks and canoes in great condition. Campgrounds were nice, plenty of good swimming, leisure fishing and quiet at night. River and weather was perfect. Worth a visit if you like floating and the outdoors. We will be back.
Jul 07, 2021 · Keith CastleberryI arrived late but the check in process was super easy. They did everything to accommodate the party I was with 45 people. They made the process easy after the float was over. I’m already looking forward to next years trip.
