Little Patch of Heaven Campground Reviews
My wife and I spent 2 weeks here to experience the bourbon trail. Sandy and Sheila are definitely some of the best campground managers we’ve ever had. As soon as we pulled in we shared a small pour of bourbon. We arrived on a Saturday and they actually have a community fire every week. They keep the campground neat and clean and everything up to par. As a home base to travel around the bourbon trail I can’t say enough good things.
Apr 26, 2025 · Jerry WillifordSweet little RV campground! We had a beautiful lake view, squeaky clean restrooms and showers and easy access to attractions. Sandy was so knowledgeable and helpful - and Harry was an awesome greeter. Will definitely come back for another stay ❤️
Apr 25, 2025 · Jonnie DugganMy husband and I love the Little Patch Of Heaven campground. We typically stay twice a year. Once in the Spring and once in the Fall. Sandy , the property manager , is very accommodating and knowledgeable about places to visit in the area and restaurants to dine at. Restrooms were very clean and well maintained. Very friendly campground!
Apr 30, 2025 · MaryBethWe have a self-contained capable camper so rarely stay at RV campsites. We made an exception due to the campground’s location and it turned out to be a great choice! Beautiful lake, very well maintained and clean bathrooms. The manager, Sandy is very welcoming and followed up to make sure all was good. She’s an ambassador for the area and greeted us with brochures & outstanding recommendations. Try the butcher shop & bakery she recommends-you won’t be disappointed! The only negative for us was Verizon’s service was 4g with 1 bar & the camp’s WiFi wasn’t much better in our location. Overall this was a pleasurable experience and we would stay again.

The utilities are great. Especially since all the sites have sewer hook ups now. The internet is good enough where during peak usage hours my streams dont buffer. The manager here (Sandy) is a sweetheart! Im a single dad and she makes sure my kids have a great time. The movie nights, campfires with smores, the kind and caring attitude; she and Sheila have are amazing. When I first moved here she helped me get into my site since I was alone with a 40 foot camper. Over the colder months the made sure all the water was insulated to alleviate freezing. During bad weather they will make sure everyone is in the storm shelter with their pets. The main drag in Bardstown is 5 minutes away. Everything resturant wise is here. Boones butcher shop is 7 minutes away and the quality is amazing. Door dash delivers. Walmart and gas stations are
