Whispering Pines - Largo Introduce
Whispering Pines - Largo, located at 7501 142nd Ave N, Largo, FL 33771, USA, is a mobile home park that may offer accommodations for RVs, placing it within the "RV parks near me" search category for individuals in the Largo, Florida area. The park can be contacted at (888) 590-6845 or +1 888-590-6845. However, it is crucial for prospective residents and RVers to carefully consider the overwhelmingly negative feedback from recent customer reviews regarding the park's infrastructure, management, and costs.
The environment of Whispering Pines - Largo is a significant concern based on the reviews. One former resident vividly describes "so many potholes" in the roads that leaving without a flat tire is considered "lucky." They also report a lack of responsiveness to maintenance requests, stating that if the issue is not directly in front of the office, management deems it "not that serious and not that important to fix!" This paints a picture of neglected infrastructure and a potentially hazardous environment for both mobile homes and RVs navigating the park's roads.
Further environmental concerns are raised by the same reviewer regarding the pool, for which residents reportedly pay but is "never open!" This suggests a potential lack of promised amenities or poor maintenance of existing ones, which would be a major disappointment for those seeking an "RV park near me" with recreational facilities. The second reviewer echoes the sentiment of decline, stating that "9 years ago it was a very nice park then everything changed," indicating a significant deterioration in the park's condition and management over time.
In terms of services and features, the reviews paint a bleak picture. The first reviewer mentions "rent price hikes up every month, non negotiable!" and expresses disbelief at the prospect of paying "$2,000/m just for lot rent," which ultimately led to their departure. This highlights potentially exorbitant and unpredictable costs associated with residing in the park, whether in a mobile home or possibly an RV for an extended stay. The second reviewer corroborates the high cost, mentioning "$1000 almost a month for lot rent?" and labels the "customer service" and pretty much everyone working there as having "trash customer service" and always having a negative "tone." This suggests a problematic management style and a lack of professionalism in interactions with residents.
The second review also raises serious allegations regarding the treatment of elderly residents, claiming they are being "Forcing elderly people like my dad out who live off of Ssn." The reviewer describes a strict and seemingly unreasonable enforcement of minor infractions, such as weeding plants, with the threat of eviction, comparing the park's attitude unfavorably to "the Marriott or Hilton." This indicates a potentially hostile and unwelcoming environment, particularly for long-term residents. Furthermore, the reviewer mentions frequent police presence ("always cops constantly in there"), which raises concerns about the safety and overall atmosphere of the park.
Basic utilities also appear to be unreliable, with the second reviewer stating, "You never know when the water is going to be shut off." This lack of consistent essential services would be a significant hardship for anyone staying at the park, whether in a mobile home or an RV. The continued neglect of infrastructure is reiterated with "The roads haven’t been fixed."
The second reviewer also details significant administrative issues, including difficulty in retrieving a security deposit from nine years prior, a refusal to provide corporate office contact information, and alleged intentional avoidance of phone calls from the former resident and their father. These accounts suggest a lack of accountability and unprofessional conduct on the part of the park's management.
Promotional information is entirely absent from the provided reviews. Instead, the feedback is overwhelmingly negative, serving as a strong deterrent for anyone considering Whispering Pines - Largo as a potential "RV park near me" or a place to live. The experiences shared highlight significant problems with infrastructure, management, costs, and the overall living environment.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Largo, FL, Whispering Pines - Largo should be approached with extreme caution based on the available customer reviews. The reports of severe road conditions, a perpetually closed pool, escalating and exorbitant lot rents, poor customer service, alleged mistreatment of elderly residents, unreliable water service, frequent police presence, and administrative incompetence paint a picture of a park to be avoided. The strong and consistent negative feedback suggests systemic issues that would likely impact the quality of life for any resident or RV guest.
Prospective residents and RVers are strongly advised to look elsewhere for accommodations in the Largo area. The issues raised in the reviews are serious and indicate a potentially stressful and unpleasant living experience. Conducting further research and seeking alternative "RV parks near me" with more positive and reliable feedback is highly recommended.
In conclusion, the information available on Whispering Pines - Largo presents a deeply concerning picture. The reported severe infrastructure problems, unreliable amenities, excessively high and increasing costs, poor management, and a potentially hostile living environment make this park an undesirable option for those searching for "RV parks near me" in Largo, FL. The overwhelmingly negative customer feedback serves as a strong warning to avoid this location.

Whispering Pines - Largo Reviews
There's so many potholes you lucky you leave without a flat tire. Want them to fix it? Good luck! If it's not in front of their office they tell you it's not that serious and not that important to fix! Pool we pay for is never open! Rent price hikes up every month, non negotiable! Want a place $2,000/m just for lot rent? Me neither! That's why I moved!
May 07, 2025 · Chris SandersOne star is to kind I would go as negative star as I can. 9 years ago it was a very nice park then everything changed. 1000$ almost a month for lot rent? Trash customer service and pretty much everyone that works there . always have a tone when you talk to them. Forcing elderly people like my dad out who live off of Ssn a lady use to drive on a cart an pick every little thing wrong with your home an give you x amount of days even it was weed your plants you’ll get evicted they act like it’s the Marriott or Hilton garbage people who live in there always cops constantly in there. You never know when the water is going to be shut off. The roads haven’t been fixed. Currently trying to get my father’s $500 deposit back From nine years ago and they are completely sloppy and don’t even know Where it’s at. Refuse to give me the number to the corporate office And now it seems like every time I call they don’t answer like they have my Mark to not answer just like my dad because my dad would constantly call No response But then when I call they answer so it seems like you have to use different phone numbers to get ahold of them. I am glad I rescued my dad and got him out of ghetto filth and have him staying in my house The parks a scam My mortgage is cheaper than a lot rent. My time in Florida I’ve lived in many different complexes This is the worst one from Southside Saint Pete To Dunedin whispering Pines is ghetto There are a few decent people that are residence That live there I feel like all of you guys should get together and speak Because half the stuff they’re doing is not right Y’all should file a class action lawsuit. Save yourself the trouble you’re better off living anywhere else.
Dec 17, 2024 · Joseph NagleeAlways a “leak” or broken tube water out for hours. Raising base rent over 5 times in 3years, they threaten you for everything most common eviction if you are 3days late for rent. Not to mention there is only one entrance/ exit and if rains for a bit it get flooded.
Aug 28, 2024 · Keyla Rosario8/2024**Now rent is $904.00.New update.8/1/23 Rent now 880.00, total.Update: Lot rent is going up $45.00 in Aug., water, sewer, trash, taxes, yeah Taxes, their property taxes. We don't own the land. SMHTotal for last month..$837.00.Been here 25 years. I see seniors being forced to move bc of lot rent. 815.00 in May. Roads are a mess. Water shut off to the whole park with no notice. When it rains, park still floods, with one entrance you can't get in or out. No security, except for a SUV security for the PARK, not the people who live here. He rides around with bright lights flashing. Wakes us up at 3am. It's nuts. They should have a senior discount, instead they leave notes bc my gutters have some weeds, or my garden needs weeding. We comply as best we can. Now we're seniors, harder to climb ladders,( I fell off mine trying to clean my siding), and constantly getting after weeds.25 years of consistently paying the rent on time should count for something..
Jan 27, 2024 · CJ LomersonHighly would recommend living elsewhereUnless you’re content with being locked in whenever it rains hard with no response from the park about possible fixes, the water main being shut off for a day every two weeks to fix “sewer problems” potholes littered all though-out the park with promises of repair with nothing done about it. The lot rent is raised 50 bucks every year. You can’t have overnight visitors, fencing on your property, not to mention our fellow neighbors are hostile in every interaction. The speed bumps that take a toll on your car because of angry neighbors riding your ass because you don’t want to speed over them, management who can’t even clear their message inbox to take valid criticism or just any feedback at all. Extremely non professional attitudes and an entrance to the park that they purposely neglect with rocks all in the road from the flower bed that got flooded over and they couldn’t care enough to scoop them back in. I greatly advise looking elsewhere as you arnt valued by the owners in this community.
