La Plaza Mobile Home Park Reviews
I waited until I lived here 1.5 years to write my review so I could give an honest opinion. 5 stars is not high enough. You feel such comfort, such peace, and TRULY at HOME here. The community is wonderful and always pulls together ❤️. The managers Janet and Mike genuinely care about the community and residents. They are a true blessing to us all. The HOA puts on so many fun events & the managers do as well. I couldn't have picked a better place to spend my 55+ years of life! Also super thankful for the wonderful people I have met here.

The park is clean and maintained as it should be. Residents are responsible for maintaining around their own home. Every community has rules and regulations. Nov 08, 2024 · karen sierchioI have noticed a Very Negative post here that I feel is Very wrong. I have lived here going on 21 years yes we had in the Past Very bad Management and was Hell! That was the Past the managers now are Great Very nice to All .Someone in here is upset over things Management has No control like Hurricane coming into our area Using the excuse didn't know the rules same if you don't know You ask Simple as that we are a 55+ park. All in All this park is a Paradise and Great place Now to live Thank you Mike and Janet and All the Great people we have living here, like I said going on 21 years here must be a Great park.
Nov 08, 2024 · Robert PetersonReview with pictures of the park flooded doesn’t accurately reflect this park. The flooding was the result of the county not cleaning the waterways. This was an isolated issue that’s never happened before. We have lived here 8 years and this park takes excellent care of this park. Would highly recommend La Plaza. Great place to live, people are definitely like family here.
Nov 19, 2024 · Michele GardnerIn response to D Zarnick’s post. My husband and I have been here for 11 years. We knew the rules when we came in because there is a Prospectus everyone must review and sign. Parking passes are available. There are reasonable rules. Former managers, two sets that we knew before Mike and Janet were difficult to work with. We have had no problem with Mike and Janet. It’s unfortunate that one bad apple’s post might spoil it for potential residents looking at his negative post. Until the recent flood, we had lots of great HOA activities well- supported by management. Potlucks, open meetings, card games, dances, other forms of entertainment, pool parties, Corn Hole, Shuffle, karaoke, golf cart parades, Christmas Season Lighted Motorcycle Parade, various holiday golf cart parades. Bi-monthly donut/coffee hours are held by management. We’ve had a circus in here, a high-wire performer, impressionists, craft nights, Block Parties, auctions with surprise contents, Vet Dinners and Ceremonies, Death By Chocolate Events at Valentines Day, st Paddy’d dinner dances. If that’s not enough we’ve celebrated Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter Dinners together. Not all events every single year but often enough to make the yearly calendar of events interesting. Oh and let’s not forget the Men’s Pancake Breakfasts and Pool Parties. And if all this doesn’t take cooperation and harmony among each other and with management and Park Owners, I don’t know what does. I’ll respond to any questions you have if you look for me on my FB page of Barbara Paye. What has all this positive stuff I mention result in? LaPlaza is a close-knit community looking out for everyone with managers and owners who have set reasonable expectations and often have gone above and beyond quietly to help a resident in a problematic situation. Please don’t let one negative post deter your plan to check us out. I’m a “Happy Camper” living at LaPlaza MHP. Barbara Paye
