Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park Introduce
If you're searching for "mobile home parks near me" in the Clearwater, Florida area, Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park, situated at 5145 E Bay Dr, Clearwater, FL 33764, USA, presents a residential option to consider. Unlike traditional RV parks catering to temporary stays, Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park appears to be a community designed for longer-term or permanent residency in mobile or manufactured homes. This distinction is important for local users seeking a place to settle rather than a short-term RV parking spot.
Based on available information, including a customer review, the environment within Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park seems to foster a sense of community and pride among residents. One visitor noted the friendly demeanor of the people, who greet passersby even if they are unfamiliar. This suggests a welcoming and neighborly atmosphere within the park. Furthermore, the review highlights the apparent care taken in maintaining the appearance of the mobile homes and the grounds, indicating a community that values cleanliness and order. The mention of a Homeowners Association (HOA) suggests a structured approach to community management, which, according to the positive review, contributes to a thriving environment with various opportunities for entertainment and learning for residents.
However, it's crucial to consider all available feedback to gain a balanced perspective. Another review presents a contrasting viewpoint, expressing concerns about the management style. This review mentions issues such as perceived controlling behavior by the manager, restrictions on activities like garage sales, and limitations on visitor access under certain circumstances. These concerns should be taken into account by potential residents as they evaluate whether Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park aligns with their expectations for community living and management interaction.
Given that Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park operates as a residential community for mobile homes rather than a transient RV park, the services and features offered would typically cater to the needs of long-term residents. These might include:
- Individual Home Sites: Residents would lease or own individual lots within the park for their mobile or manufactured homes.
- Infrastructure and Utilities: The park would provide essential infrastructure such as roads, water, sewer, and electrical connections to each site. Residents are typically responsible for their individual utility usage.
- Community Amenities: Many mobile home parks offer shared amenities for their residents. Based on the positive review mentioning entertainment and learning opportunities, Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park might feature a clubhouse or community center for social gatherings, events, and activities.
- Recreational Facilities: Depending on the size and scope of the park, there could be recreational facilities such as swimming pools, shuffleboard courts, or other outdoor spaces for residents to enjoy.
- Maintenance and Groundskeeping: The positive review suggests that the grounds are well-maintained, indicating that the park likely provides some level of landscaping and upkeep for common areas.
- Management Office: An on-site management office is typical for mobile home parks to handle community administration, address resident concerns, and enforce park rules and regulations.
It's important to note that specific services and features can vary significantly between mobile home parks. For detailed information about the amenities offered at Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park, prospective residents should directly contact the park management. This will allow them to inquire about specific facilities, community activities, and any rules or regulations that may apply.
Regarding promotional information, it is less common for mobile home parks to have short-term promotions like RV parks. Instead, their focus is usually on attracting long-term residents to purchase or lease homes within the community. To learn about current availability of homes or lots, any associated fees or lease terms, and the overall cost of living in Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park, interested parties should reach out directly to the park's management. They can provide the most up-to-date information on residency opportunities and any incentives that might be available.
In conclusion, Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park in Clearwater, Florida, appears to be a residential community for mobile and manufactured homes. While one review highlights a friendly atmosphere, well-maintained grounds, and a sense of community with organized activities, another review raises concerns about the management style. Local users searching for "mobile home parks near me" should consider both perspectives and conduct thorough research, including direct contact with the park management, to determine if Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park meets their individual needs and preferences for long-term living in a mobile home community.

Blue Horizon Mobile Home Park Reviews
I don't live here. I came to visit a friend and from what I have seen and experienced while being there it was all good. People are friendly, they don't know you and still greet you in passing. They take great pride in their appearance. Everything from the Mobile homes were clean and the grounds were kept nice and neat. I personally am not a fan of HOA but so far it seems they provide a wonderful experience with a community that thrives and gives a lot of different opportunities to its residence in providing entertainment and a chance for learning different things.
Apr 05, 2025 · JonetteWould be a fine place to live if the manager (Lisa) wasn’t so controlling. Complaints from my parents and her neighbors are constant. Can’t have a garage sale because she wants to keep your money. If I visit I have to leave if they leave for the day for appointments. Some other stuff but do your research! I feel the reviews are rigged as well.

Mar 17, 2025 · Jeff JeffersonI give it 5 stars.. the owner and manager Lisa is Awesome... if you have a problem she will address it almost immediately... The people are great all very friendly and easy to get along with.. Parking for guests is manageable as long as their not staying for weeks on end.. Every thing you will ever need is within walking distance... the only down side is that the pool is not heated... but i only swim when its 70 degrees and above... best park ever in my opinion...!😊💖
Oct 21, 2023 · Dave ChristensenSmall quaint mobile home park. Location is not ideal the entrance and the exit for the park are both at a place that is difficult to get into and out of and near impossible at high traffic times you have to go to Tri-City Plaza light and do a U-turn if heading west on East Bay Dr. The entrance and exit are so close together that if you miss it and of course I missed it!!! Lol that boom there was the exit and it looked like a exit only however wasn't clear on if it was a one way or not... Causing me to cross over 3 lanes of traffic on East Bay Dr to the light@US 19 light for another U-turn.I hate to sound like I'm am giving it negative review when the park it self was very quaint and extremely pristine grounds. Not bare however not trailer lawn decor gone wild like some parks around town have either which was nice. I love yard decor but not to the point you feel as if it's mocking trailer parks here in Florida. Not all mobile home parks are that way. Some times down here it's either grumpy old people or you drove into an episode of Married with Children. Lol. This being said...Another negative is there was zero parking for guest anywhere in the park not even by the pool so for family to visit or have a card game or anything involving guest it would be near impossible because their streets were very narrow not allowing room for street parking without blocking half the street and a driver's view if trying to go around the parked vehicle so it's I felt rushed because my full size truck was obviously causing vehicles issues trying to get by so visiting on the porch we could hear and see as vehicles tried to maneuver around it.. Plus the lots and trailers are unusually close . Possibly not within code so close...Positives for me that I could see would be.... If you were a 55+ person!!! First would be if you didn't drive or don't like dealing with traffic or understanding gps or funds for taxis or public transportation or whatever reasons may be for not driving you have, you are very, very close to everything you need for independent living within walking distance and I mean maybe a foot ball field away two fast food restaurants Wendy's & Taco Bell. Then directly across East Bay is Tri-City Plaza which has Publix, Dollar tree,a hair salon, fitness, eyeglass store a massive fitness gym, Ross & Burlington's Coat Factory retailers , 2 banks an even a pet store sorry don't know which ones. .. Then maybe 1/4 mile if not less than that there is a super Walmart... Just on the other side of US 19 however is very safe to cross for 🚸 pedestrians. So everything is within right by and is a realistic walk considering Florida's weather that is what makes thing unrealistic distances for walking anywhere further than a block with the heat... sorry bout the negatives but trying to keep this as informative for peeps...That is what I got for ya.Hope it helps. 🤗
