Lone Star Recreation Area Reviews
This campsite is amazing! I’ve been here 4 times this summer and have had a blast every time. Plenty of camper spots. Boat dock. Fishing is pretty good. Super fun lake to kayak. Highly recommend this lake!
Oct 18, 2023 · Edward DavisAbsolutely beautiful place. It was an off season stay for me, and the camp was still VERY clean and absolutely well kept. The lake was slightly frozen, and the geese in the background honking were a beautiful sound to enjoy during the day. Will definitely be back during my travels.
Feb 11, 2024 · Jason HillWe always love coming here not matter if it's camping, fishing or just a day swim trip. However this year the water is down a lot! Hope this improves but the water was still wonderful today
Jun 23, 2024 · Tanya LeazerFirst time I went last year my buddy introduced me to this lake id say we did pretty good. 2 weeks later had a good fish fry. Apr 06, 2019 · William LuongNice clean quiet campground. Primitive as well as gravel camping pads for campers. First come first serve. Great fishing, we caught cats up to 9 lbs. There are a few hydrants however no dump station. There is one to the north just north of Milligan at the Sinclair.
