Lonesome Dove Campground and RV PARK, LP Reviews
Clean, safe and well run! Charlie is a pleasure to work with! He hauled the camper up from Florida, hooked it all up and made sure I had everything I needed. He was very kind in helping me get the heat going (I’ve never used a camper before). The other camp site occupants were also friendly and I really enjoyed my time here with the dogs! Highly recommend.
Nov 23, 2024 · Maggie BudinichThe owner of the Campground Charlie Green is very professional. His entire family is very kind and considerate, and they will help you with anything. We have been living in our RV for three years and this is the best RV park we have ever stayed at. I would recommend it to anyone ,good people great campfire and nice living💜
Apr 05, 2025 · Toby FincannonThis was our first stay with this campground. The owner was very nice/ friendly. My husband and I told him we would arrive around 330pm and made so many wrong turns added the wrong address to the GPS and he was so understanding when we did end up arriving at 530pm. After arriving he helped us get backed into our camp site, chatted with us about our travels down from PA.We explained a little why we were here in South Carolina and where we were headed to next he explained his history alittle and his travels. Due to us arriving late we asked if we could purchase the site an extra night and he was able to do it. It was so nice to meet someone who was so nice. The campground was clean, the other campers were friendly. I would recommend this campground for one night two nights one week or one month. So peaceful you definitely get a good nights sleep. Can’t say thank you enough for the wonderful hospitality and generosity you have shown. Thank you Charlie Green.
Sep 23, 2024 · Ashley GreenQuiet and serene atmosphere. The hospitality and friendliness around the campground from owner and long term residents was great. It's 10 minutes from Lake Jocasse (well worth seeing) so you don't have to deal with much state park traffic. Charlie gave us info for motocross track with some great jumps and track areas for all levels of riding. It was only a 30 min drive and an awesome experience. For a privately owned campground The Dove has the feel of a natural state park area with trees and shade, birds chirping, nice sunrise. The Dove has restrooms, propane, ice, no showers but full hookups for camper.Charlie will make you feel at home and may even guide you to some local hot spot trout fishing holes if your nice. We will definitely come back to "The Dove". Thanks Charlie it was a pleasure.
Mar 31, 2024 · Scott H.If you're looking for a place with nice people, pet friendly and safe...this is it! Charlie was able to get me into a perfect spot that had just opened up last minute. I was very lucky! You can also have a potted fruit and veggie garden!
