McVille Dam Campground Reviews
Ed is no nice and welcoming. We enjoyed it here. One bathroom stall each for men’s and women. Would be nice to have showers. Such a gem area.
Jul 02, 2023 · Pam YangWe camped here for the weekend. Our campsite was very close to the playground, and we were able to watch our daughter from our camper. The downside was our camper was right below the only light in the campground. It attracted all of the bugs in the campground. The campground host is very friendly and has a great deal on firewood. The campground is right off the dam, with a decent sized swimming area. The docks and platforms need some work, some of them are in disrepair. The fishing pier is nice, we caught a few panfish from it.
Jul 28, 2019 · Mark MonrealNot much to say about the dam.The water is wet and the sand is Sandy. There's never anybody there soooo You can forget a Bay watch setting...But if you prefer being alone like a depressed person I highly recommend taking a look for yourself. You won't regret it.... Well you might because sometimes there's mosquitoes to keep you company. The key is you need to bring a fishing Pole and nowhere to go.
Jul 16, 2019 · Chris AhlIt's OK wondering if there is Blue Algae in the water this year? Wanting to take the dogs there to go swimming. It's there a water test I can use to check the water?
Jul 27, 2020 · D HallNice beach and fishing area, picnic shelter, campground with plumbing in the bathrooms, playground, and a volleyball court (including a ball!). Cute little park!
