Merrill–Gorrel County Park Reviews
This place is amazing and beautiful, plus Carrie the Manger is awesome and very welcoming!!My girls and I are loving it here..
Jun 26, 2024 · Angie Alexander HurlburtI've gone camping in this area for well over a decade. I often go two or three times a summer. I personally prefer the mini cabins. That way I do not have to set up any tents and I don't have to sleep on the ground. The mini cabins have electricity, two bunk beds, and a loft that can sleep two people. It also has a shelf, a table, and benches. It has a little porch with chairs that you can sit on as well. I like the cabins on the Merrell side because they face the lake. Very lovely to sit there and relax.
Jul 18, 2024 · Eve KennedyFront Desk Staff Was Very Nice & Welcoming, but this is not a camp site for families with kids. The seasonal guest think they own the place and was not nice or welcoming at all. The man in the yellow truck across from lot 62 on the corner was naked in his camper at night looking at me and my family out his window. Will never visit again waste of money.
Jul 30, 2023 · Asha WilliamsYou have to pay separately for your parking, it wasn't included in the site rate. Also the bathrooms being cleaned for over an hr during the time most people wake in the morning to use the bathroom, between 7a and 9a. And our site had a gray water hookup but it was filled with sand so we couldn't use it.
May 29, 2024 · Amanda MoellerExtremely Disappointed. My sons and I made a trip specifically to fish because of the high ratings. Description was fish from shore, pier and boat. UNTRUE to say the least. 2 small piers side by side, NO SHORELINE access and 1 boat launch. A complete waste of time and money because you have to PAY to enter the park. The staff is wonderful but the fishing is a lie.
