Mohr's roadside rv park Introduce
For local users in Milton, West Virginia, and those traveling through the area searching for "camping near me," particularly those with recreational vehicles, Mohr's roadside rv park offers a straightforward and convenient option. Located at 1129 Co Rd 60/16 in Milton, WV 25541, USA, this RV park, as its name suggests, caters primarily to travelers seeking essential hookups and easy access to nearby amenities. This introduction aims to provide a detailed, objective overview of Mohr's roadside rv park based on available customer reviews, focusing on its environment, services, features, and its suitability for local users with specific needs.
When local users explore the category "camping near me" with an RV, their priorities often include the availability of full hookups (water, electricity, sewer), ease of access to major roadways, proximity to essential services like fuel and groceries, and the overall convenience for an overnight stay or a short stopover. Mohr's roadside rv park, based on customer feedback, appears to excel in providing this basic convenience, although it may lack some of the traditional amenities found in larger campgrounds.
Regarding the environment, the name "Mohr's roadside rv park" itself provides a key piece of information: it is located alongside a road. Customer reviews corroborate this, with one stating, "Exactly What the Name Says! This is a small lot next to a tire business..." This description suggests that the environment is functional rather than scenic or deeply immersed in nature. Local users seeking a picturesque or secluded camping experience might find the roadside setting less appealing. However, for those prioritizing accessibility and convenience, the environment might be a secondary consideration.
One reviewer noted, "Little noisy because of the busy road it’s on..." This is an important environmental factor for local users to consider. Roadside locations often experience traffic noise, which could impact the peace and quiet of a stay. While the level of noise might be acceptable for a short overnight stop, it could be a concern for longer stays where tranquility is desired.
In terms of services and features, Mohr's roadside rv park focuses on the essentials for RV travelers. Reviews mention "a few full-hookup sites," indicating that water, electricity, and sewer connections are available. One reviewer specifically noted "good water pressure and solid power," which are crucial for a comfortable RV stay. The availability of full hookups is a significant advantage for RV owners as it allows them to utilize all the amenities of their vehicles without needing to conserve resources or use communal facilities.
However, the reviews also explicitly mention the absence of certain amenities. One reviewer pointed out, "There’s no pool, shade, bath house..." This indicates that Mohr's roadside rv park is a no-frills option that prioritizes functionality over recreational facilities or extensive comfort amenities. Local users accustomed to campgrounds with pools, bathhouses, or ample shade might find this park lacking in those areas. For self-contained RVs, the absence of a bathhouse might not be a major issue, but tent campers or those relying on communal facilities would need to look elsewhere.
Despite the lack of traditional campground amenities, Mohr's roadside rv park offers significant convenience in terms of location. Reviews highlight "Very easy access to Interstate 64, gas and groceries." This accessibility to a major interstate is a major plus for travelers passing through the area, making it a convenient stop for the night. The proximity to gas stations and grocery stores is also beneficial for stocking up on supplies or refueling vehicles without having to travel far from the campsite. For local users embarking on an RV trip or returning home, this ease of access can be a significant time-saver.
One reviewer mentioned the lot being "relatively level," which is an important feature for RV parking as it simplifies the process of leveling the vehicle for comfort and the proper functioning of appliances. This suggests that while the park might be basic, attention has been paid to the practical aspects of accommodating RVs.
Regarding promotional information, there are no specific promotions mentioned in the reviews. One reviewer did note the price paid: "$40 cash for the night." This provides a data point for local users to consider the potential cost of staying at Mohr's roadside rv park. However, pricing can vary based on factors such as the time of year, length of stay, and the size of the RV. It is advisable for local users to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers ((304) 638-6477 or +1 304-638-6477) to inquire about current rates and payment methods.
The reviews also offer a local recommendation: "Check out the Blenko Glass Factory if you have a couple of hours." This suggests that Mohr's roadside rv park is located within reasonable proximity to local attractions, which could be of interest to local users looking for activities in the area. Blenko Glass Factory is a well-known attraction in West Virginia, and its mention indicates that staying at the RV park could provide an opportunity to explore local points of interest.
In conclusion, Mohr's roadside rv park in Milton, WV, offers a no-frills, but convenient option for local users and travelers searching for "camping near me" with RVs. Its key features include full hookups, relatively level sites, and excellent access to Interstate 64, gas stations, and grocery stores. While it lacks traditional campground amenities like a pool, shade, and a bathhouse, it prioritizes functionality and ease of access for those needing a comfortable and well-connected overnight stay. The potential for some road noise due to its location is a factor to consider. Local users with self-contained RVs who value convenience and essential hookups will likely find Mohr's roadside rv park a suitable option. For those seeking a more amenity-rich or scenic camping experience, other campgrounds in the area might be more appropriate. Contacting the park directly for current pricing and any specific policies is recommended for local users planning a stay.

Mohr's roadside rv park Reviews
Exactly What the Name Says! This is a small lot next to a tire business that has a few full-hookup sites for travelers. Very easy access to Interstate 64, gas and groceries. Lot was relatively level with good water pressure and solid power. There’s no pool, shade, bath house, but if you want a spot for the night, it’s great. Paid $40 cash for the night. Check out the Blenko Glass Factory if you have a couple of hours.
