Morro Bay State Park Campground Reviews
This is a great park at the beach. The whole area is maintained and kept clean. Parking is onsite. Public restrooms are available. Leashed dogs are allowed on beach. Children will have fun on the shore. This is also a popular area for bikers of all ages. You can view the surfers and paddle boarders on the water. The view of The Rock up close is awesome. Seagulls and sand pipers were seen along the shore and on the rocks. They were quite tame. Ground squirrels liive and play on the rock walls. This is a favorite spot for locals and tourists.
Sep 26, 2024 · L. ConsoliI'm not qualified to describe the complex beauty and natural wonder within Morro Bay state Park, the Monterey Cypress trees all look as if they're a council of wise stewards of the historic land, but their zany branches and whacky shapes like from a Dr Seuss book suggest they all speak with the voice of a drunken Christopher Walken. See? Not qualified.

Aug 02, 2024 · Jack WilliamsWe are once a year go to the Morro Bay State Park Campground. It is a long drive from Sacramento with the trailers. My last trip camping there cost almost five hundred dollars only for the gasoline alone. But the area is fun and the views are beautiful there. We always get the power and water hookup sites. It seems that booking the campsites at Morro Bay State Park Campground is much easier than trying to get our favorite campsites in Northern California. The campsites here are excellent and very close to all the activities.
Jan 30, 2024 · Michael W.Great camping for us newbie travel trailer owners . Very clean..so close to grocery store and many amenities. There is a dump station and a water fill station to fill water in the same area ...Great experience our spot got lots of shade by the large beautiful trees but made it hard to charge up our battery with onboard solar so that's something to be aware of when choosing a spot . gets very busy at this site since it's such a great location, so book ahead of time
