Reviewers specifically mention "Beautiful mountain views," indicating that campers can expect picturesque surroundings. The presence of "Grass" and "trees" suggests a natural setting with some ground cover and shade, although one reviewer noted that summer could be "too hot" without air conditioning, implying that the shade might be somewhat limited or insufficient during the peak गर्मी months. The overall environment appears to be spacious and accommodating, particularly for large groups and those with big RVs.
In terms of services, Mustang Flats Campground provides essential amenities that cater to a comfortable group camping experience. The availability of "toilets and water" is explicitly mentioned, addressing basic hygiene and hydration needs for campers. The presence of a "pavilion" is a significant service, offering a covered space for gatherings, cooking, or protection from the elements. One reviewer specifically rented out the "whole Bowery," which seems to be a large covered structure, likely similar to a pavilion but perhaps more open-sided, suitable for events like weddings and large group meals. The campground's ability to host a wedding for around 50 people, including the ceremony under the Bowery and a potluck, highlights its capacity for organized events.

Mustang Flats Campground Reviews
We rented out the whole Bowery up at Mustang Flats July 7-9. We had around 50 people up there with us, on July 8th we had our wedding there. It was so amazing, our ceremony was under the Bowery. Then we had pictures taken with our arch, out in the side of our camp site. Our back ground was our arch & the mountains behind us, so amazing. Our color's were Tiffany Blue & Black. After all the pictures, we had a pot luck. We supplied 60lbs of smoked meat, while everyone else brought a side dish. It was a total success. 💙🖤
Jul 20, 2023 · Karen MuellerIt was roomy. It had toilets and water. It was inexpensive. Grass, trees, shade, a pavilion. We went up with our camping group. Plenty of room. It was very warm. We'll go spring or fall.Summer was too hot. Unless you have A/C.GREAT FOR BIG GROUPS AND BIG RIGS. WE LOVED IT. Beautiful mountain views.
Jul 21, 2024 · Valerie HarrisonIt is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy nature. So much is so close, but you can truly "get away" here. Camp hosts are amazing.
Jul 16, 2023 · Lyle PhelpsWe loved staying at this campground. The host has done a great job of keeping the campground and amenities clean and in good working order. Our particular spot had a lot of shade and although we were pretty close to the road, the gravel kept the dust to a minimum.
Jul 12, 2022 · Jeremy GreenI've brought large groups here for several overnight camps. This is a great spot with a beautiful view of the mountains. The camp is nice and clean and has a some great space for parking trailers and pitching tents. We had about 150 people with about 15 camper/trailers and quite a few tents. The covered pavilion is in great shape and has 16 aluminium picnic tables that are great for meals that are shaded from the sun and protected from the rain.
