Valley View Recreation Camp Introduce
For local residents seeking distinctive "camping near me" experiences, Valley View Recreation Camp, situated at 3163 E 3350 N in Eden, Utah, offers a potentially engaging retreat nestled in a great mountain location. Based on recent customer feedback, this campground provides spacious and well-equipped cabins, clean and wooded grounds, and even unique recreational features like Gaga ball pits. However, it's crucial to note that one review indicates the campground might not be open to the general public, suggesting it could be a private or group-specific facility.
The environment at Valley View Recreation Camp is described as wooded and clean, implying a natural and well-maintained setting for guests. The mountain location in Eden, Utah, suggests that campers can expect scenic surroundings, potentially including mountain views, fresh air, and a sense of being immersed in nature. The wooded grounds would likely offer shade and a more secluded camping experience, enhancing the overall tranquility of the location. The mention of a winter visit after a heavy storm also hints at the potential for enjoying the campground in different seasons, although access during winter conditions might require appropriate vehicle preparation, such as tire chains, due to slick roads on the uphill approach.
The services at Valley View Recreation Camp appear to cater to a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The positive feedback regarding the spacious and well-equipped cabins suggests that these accommodations provide a high level of comfort and convenience, likely including amenities that make for a hassle-free experience. While the reviews don't explicitly detail other services such as restroom facilities, water access, or other campground amenities typically found in public campgrounds, the focus on cabin quality indicates a certain level of attention to guest comfort. Given the potential private nature of the camp, the services might be tailored to the specific groups or individuals it serves.
One of the unique features highlighted in the reviews is the presence of "several Gaga ball pits." Gaga ball is a popular and engaging game that can provide hours of fun for various age groups, making this a notable recreational amenity. This feature suggests that Valley View Recreation Camp aims to offer activities beyond traditional camping, fostering a sense of community and active engagement among its guests. The combination of comfortable cabins and recreational facilities like Gaga ball pits points to a well-rounded experience for those who have access to the camp.
The location of Valley View Recreation Camp is described as "great" and "up in the mountains," reinforcing the idea of a scenic and potentially secluded setting. Eden, Utah, is known for its beautiful mountain landscapes, offering opportunities for outdoor activities and a peaceful retreat. However, the crucial piece of information from one review stating, "It's not open to the public though," significantly alters the context for local users searching for "camping near me." This suggests that Valley View Recreation Camp might operate as a private camp, perhaps affiliated with a specific organization or group, and may not be available for general public booking.
For local users specifically searching for publicly accessible "camping near me," the information that Valley View Recreation Camp might not be open to the public is critical. While the positive reviews regarding the cabins, grounds, and recreational features are appealing, accessibility remains a primary concern. Individuals interested in staying at this location should verify its public availability before making any plans. It's possible that the camp is available for group rentals or specific events, but not for individual public bookings.
Given the conflicting information regarding public access, it is strongly recommended that local users contact Valley View Recreation Camp directly at (801) 564-7954 or their mobile number +1 801-564-7954 to inquire about their availability and booking policies. When contacting them, it would be important to clarify whether the campground is open to the general public or if it operates on a private or group-reservation basis. This direct communication will provide the most accurate information regarding accessibility and any potential opportunities for staying at the camp.
If Valley View Recreation Camp is indeed a private facility, it might still be relevant for local groups or organizations in the Eden area seeking a well-equipped and scenic location for retreats or events. The positive reviews highlight the quality of the cabins and the engaging recreational amenities, making it a potentially attractive option for such purposes, provided that the group meets the criteria for access. Therefore, even if not open to the general public for individual camping, it could still be a valuable resource for specific segments of the local community.
In conclusion, Valley View Recreation Camp in Eden, Utah, appears to offer a delightful mountain retreat with spacious cabins, pleasant wooded grounds, and fun features like Gaga ball pits. However, the crucial note that it might not be open to the public necessitates direct inquiry to ascertain its accessibility. Local users searching for "camping near me" should contact the camp directly to confirm their booking options and availability. If it is accessible, it promises a unique and enjoyable experience; if it is private, it might still be a valuable option for local groups seeking a private retreat venue.

Valley View Recreation Camp Reviews
This place is lots of fun. The cabin is spacious and well equipped. The ground are wooded and clean. They even have several Gaga ball pits.Normally I come here during the summer or fall. My most recent trip was during the winter after a heavy storm. The winter was a delightful treat. The only challenge was getting up the hill. The snow was so slick my vehicle didn't have enough traction to make the first parking lot. I need chains.

Jun 15, 2024 · Tabitha BywaterVery well run camp. Once you get used to the idea that everything there is either up hill or down hill, really good camps can happen here.
