Century Campground Introduce
If you are searching for "camping near me" in the West Haven, Utah area, Century Campground, located at 1399 2100 S St, West Haven, UT 84401, USA, presents itself as an option to consider. They can be contacted at phone number (801) 731-3800 or mobile phone +1 801-731-3800 for inquiries about availability and reservations. Based on recent customer reviews, Century Campground offers certain conveniences, such as full hookups and a paved, level surface for sites, but also has limitations regarding space and amenities.
One recurring theme in the reviews is the issue of limited space within the campground. Guests have described the sites as "tight spaces" and "short spaces," indicating that maneuvering larger recreational vehicles and parking tow vehicles may be challenging. Specifically, one reviewer noted that the pull-through sites were "not long enough for a 35 for travel trailer plus tow vehicle." This is a crucial consideration for individuals traveling with larger RV setups, as it may necessitate unhitching and parking the tow vehicle separately, if space allows.
Adding to the spatial constraints, another reviewer mentioned "No extra parking," suggesting that there is limited or no designated overflow parking available for additional vehicles. This could be problematic for those traveling with more than one vehicle or for visitors. The entry and exit to the campground also involve mandatory U-turns, which might require careful maneuvering, especially for larger rigs.
Despite the spatial limitations, the staff at Century Campground have received positive feedback. One reviewer specifically mentioned, "Nice staff" and "staff was really nice," indicating a friendly and helpful customer service experience during check-in. This positive aspect of the staff can contribute significantly to a more pleasant overall stay, even when other aspects of the campground might be less than ideal.
The campground offers pull-through sites, which are generally preferred by RV travelers as they allow for easier entry and exit without the need to back up. One reviewer confirmed that their site was "paved and level," which are desirable features for setting up an RV, providing a stable and clean surface. Additionally, the availability of "Full hookups👍" is a significant advantage, typically including connections for electricity, water, and sewage, offering convenience and self-sufficiency for RV users.
However, the proximity of the sites to each other is also noted as a potential drawback, with one reviewer stating, "sites are close together." This can impact the sense of privacy and personal space for campers.
In terms of amenities, Century Campground reportedly has a pool. However, one reviewer noted that "they have a pool but it was closed for winter." This highlights the importance of verifying the availability of amenities, especially seasonal ones, at the time of booking, depending on the travel dates.
Another reviewer specifically booked with Century Campground with the expectation of using the pool and hot tub for medical reasons ("husband’s back pain") while traveling. They expressed disappointment that these amenities were closed and felt that "Staff and the website should update regularly when the majority of the amenities are closed down." This feedback underscores the need for accurate and up-to-date information regarding the operational status of amenities, as this can significantly influence a traveler's choice of campground, especially when specific facilities are a priority.
Based on the available reviews, Century Campground appears to be a functional campground offering essential services like full hookups and level, paved sites. However, potential guests should be aware of the limitations regarding the size and spacing of the sites, the lack of extra parking, and the need to perform U-turns for entry and exit. The staff is reported to be friendly, which is a definite positive. The availability of the pool and potentially other amenities should be confirmed directly with the campground, especially during off-peak seasons, to avoid disappointment.
For local users searching for "camping near me" who prioritize ease of access and full hookups for their RV, Century Campground might be a viable option, provided their RV setup can be accommodated within the described site limitations. However, those with larger rigs or the need for extra parking should carefully consider these constraints. Additionally, if amenities like a pool or hot tub are a key factor in their decision, it is essential to verify their operational status beforehand.
There is no specific promotional information available in the provided reviews. Local users interested in any special offers or discounts should contact Century Campground directly at the provided phone numbers.
In conclusion, Century Campground in West Haven, UT, offers a location with friendly staff, paved and level full hookup sites. However, prospective guests should be aware of the tight and short spaces, the lack of extra parking, and the necessity of U-turns for entry and exit. The availability of amenities like the pool may be seasonal, so it is recommended to confirm this information prior to booking. For local users seeking "camping near me," Century Campground presents a mixed picture of convenience and limitations that should be carefully weighed based on individual needs and preferences.

Century Campground Reviews
Tight spaces. Nice staff. Short spaces. No extra parking. You have to start by making a U-turn as you enter, and a U-turn to exit. Check in was easy, staff was really nice. Then you have to navigate down a narrow road to your pull through sites. Site is paved and level. Full hookups👍sites are close together. And not long enough for a 35 for travel trailer plus tow vehicle. But overflow parking was always full. They have a pool but it was closed for winter.
Oct 15, 2024 · Home Everyday Love & PositivityThe only reason we booked with Century was to get a break while traveling with a pool and hot tub for my husband’s back pain.Staff and the website should update regularly when the majority of the amenities are closed down.
Apr 06, 2025 · Jill DornonSo far all has been good.... The place is on the Spendy side though...$$$ ..... But now that it's raining all the puddles of water and all the mud make keeping the new rv clean a task....
Dec 23, 2024 · bcfun67 bcfunVery nice, well maintained campground. But, we drove thirty miles out of the way and paid more than we usually pay in order to have a pool and hot tub. Their website says pool open for Memorial Day weekend but no! The pool and hot tub were partially drained and covered, pool gate locked at 4 PM on June 22. Lose two stars. Level concrete pull through campsite. Some campsites are gravel but they look like the area for long term residents. Clean bathroom but no handicap toilet stall or shower. Shower stalls very small but good hot water. I won't return until I have called to confirm the pool is ready.
Jun 23, 2023 · Larry From WisconsinGreat overnight just off I-15 near Ogden, UT. Easy on and off. Very well maintained. Most of the park is more mobile home style but the park standards are high and everyone is very friendly. No worries. Enjoy your night!
