Nature's Chain of Lakes Campground Reviews
This is a great family oriented place to go! Beautiful sunsets in the lake. The prices for rentals are totally doable for families. Restrooms are beautiful, updated and clean. Halloween is a blast & fireworks are the best Ive ever seen. Great friendly helping community. Has a boat launch, fishing on docks, horse shoes, paths to walk, large sites, dog friendly, store is small with limited inventory. We were never interested in a seasonal but now we have one here! We love this place and the people so much we don’t care to go anywhere else!
Oct 11, 2023 · T FullerThis is a quiet campground with awesome owners!Nature gets loud at times with the killdeer birds. But the firewood is so dry and seasoned that my husband had no problem lighting a fire with no store bought fire starter.Love the Quiet of the place.
Sep 15, 2024 · Octavia HironsWe have been camping for 8 years now and have visited dozens of campgrounds and at least 8 states. This is the first time I've ever seen a campground provide bicycles, beach toys, fishing poles, floaties and life jackets for no extra cost. They had at least 20 bicycles for use, just walk over and take one. Quality bikes, not rusted hulks. All with tires inflated and gears working. There's models from the smallest with training wheels to adult mountain bikes. If you are staying here and usually bring bikes, there may not be a reason to do so.The playground has several complete, high quality sets of equipment all in perfect working order. There's a paved basketball court with heavy duty backboard and net. They even have a series of water misters that you can turn on. The pavilion next to the playground looks almost new and has rows of picnic tables, a stage and a room with cooking equipment to use. There are docks for your boat, parking for visitors, a fish cleaning building and a camp store with covered seating area for chilling. The owners are young and very willing to help out. They are hard working and it shows with the nice landscaping and well maintained bathrooms and showers. WiFi is throughout the entire campground and is quite fast although we were there when the campground was less than 40% full so its hard to say if it holds up on a holiday weekend. The campground is about 70% seasonal. We stayed there twice in the Summer of 2024 and would not hesitate to visit again.
Jul 15, 2024 · David WitekThis place is such a hidden gem! One of my favorite campgrounds we’ve been to! Very clean and nice. Lots to do with a beach, fishing, playground, kayaks, and bikes for the kids to ride around on. We will definitely be coming back!
