Great place to enjoy the northwest. The Lookout Bar & Grill is right across the road, great place to have drinks and food.
Apr 18, 2025 · Tiffany HansenWe were quite surprised by this nice campground. I recommend coming from the east. The main road from the west was rough. Mark and Colleen are wonderful hosts. The bathrooms are clean with flush toilets & hot showers.
Sep 22, 2024 · Jean HuelsmanVery nice campground with very nice couple that own and manage it. Large campsites. The campsites are arranged with two sites on each post so we are set up back to back to one camper and awning is facing the next camper's awning but there is a wide space between us. Most of the campground is full of seasonal campers, some with park models. Many have permanent decks and storage sheds. Some campers look old but none of them look junkie. There is a sign after the office coming into the campground area that says "No ATVs," which I appreciate but thought it was odd since the campground is on a popular ATV / snowmobile trail. Then later I noticed that there is a large ATV / snowmobile storage area. There is a new, large, beautiful bathroom. Cheap ice paid by the honor system. Fire rings at every site with cheap firewood available. A nice tavern is across the road with Leinenkugel Original on tap and some great burgers and onion rings. The County Park with boat ramp is exactly 1 mile down the road. It is free to visit the park and use the boat ramp. Campsites there cost about the same as here. We were very displeased camping at that County Park because they don't have sewer hookups or even a nearby RV dump station. The closest dump station is 14 miles away. The County Park also has no water. Moving to North View gives us all the benefits of the County Park with full hookups and a hot shower. We will be back next year.
Jun 11, 2019 · Larry From WisconsinWe were very satisfied with our stay! Cabins were well kept and clean. Colleen was super nice and friendly. They were also very dog friendly place my dog had a blast there. Overall we will be coming back soon :). Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Aug 07, 2020 · Mor YangWe had a great time this past weekend here. Excellent access to ATV/Snowmobile trails, nice hot showers and clean bathrooms. We had a nice LARGE group of 3 sites that we had 3 groups camping on. We had plenty of room for the kids to play! Very well kept campground. Mark and Colleen were very helpful with getting us setup and Mark was gracious enough to loan us ATV helmets for the kids and tri-pod for cooking over the fire. He brought us a load of firewood right to our site in the bucket of his tractor so we didn't need to haul it around ourselves. The ice cream shop was great when we needed some relaxing and cooling off. I would definitely recommend North View Campground for anyone looking for a place to camp in the Gordon area. There was a LOT of rain that was causing some flooding and washouts at almost all the campgrounds around the area, but they were setup well here and had no issues. They even accommodated a group on short notice that had been flooded out of another campground so that they could stay in the area! Well done Mark and Colleen! We look forward to our next stay!
