Ozark Outdoors Resort Reviews
Had a great time for my bachelor party. Wanted a place to let loose but still have a nice quiet area in nature. Float trip was a blast and was perfect to end up back at the resort instead of having to shuttle back after the float.
Sep 23, 2024 · Brock BalesWe have been coming to this location since 2008, in the years that we have been here we have seen many changes. Mostly good. We loved when the cabins were upgraded, they are very nice. However, the price increases yearly for no more amenities. We have always brought our own kitchen ware and linen, but this time there wasn't even a broom for us to use to sweep with, or dish soap to clean with. I was a bit underwhelmed since the prices have continued to increase, I would think there would be more to the cabins. We will continue to come as we love it here but it is a bit disappointing to us that the prices are high but there is nothing to show for the increase. Thank you.
Sep 13, 2024 · Tim and Brandi RamseyThe campground has a ton to offer which is why we picked it from viewing many online. We intended to have some family that was not staying at the campground, hang out with us during the day - a float or the tree ropes course - and then around the fire in the evening. We didn't know they have very strict security and it would be $15 per person to enter for just the day. Never heard of that at a campground! The wifi isn't free. It was $38 for 4 devices for 2 days. It was a little unreliable at times too. We tried signing up for the ropes course online, in advance, but the reservation system wasn't working. I went to the lodge and they didn't have any openings so the kids were really bummed. We did the tube float instead which was fun. They only leave at the top of the hour so plan accordingly. Bring rope or ties if you have a group. The site we had, 1419, was in the family area and it was definitely more low key than the party area at the front of the campground. The site was weird though... It was a pull in site but there wasn't a road on the other side... It was a field with some trees. You had to drive around to get to the hitch and essentially back up when you're leaving. Weirdest setup I've seen too. There were a few times I went to the lodge to ask questions or sign up for activities and the help was hit or miss. The lodge store was awesome -- everything you could think of! The kids were truly amazed by the custom cotton candy machine. 🤗
Aug 14, 2024 · Kassy McMichaelI was blocked from their Facebook page for leaving a comment about their prices and how out of line they have become. I will update this review if the issue is resolved, but they didn't even reach out to me. It's sad, we've been going here for 20 years and bring a group of 40+ every June.
