Park Creek Campground Introduce
For local users in the Lowman, Idaho area searching for "camping near me" within the Boise National Forest, Park Creek Campground, located off Forest Road #582A, Lowman, ID 83637, USA, offers an appealing destination for those seeking a blend of natural beauty and outdoor adventure. Based on recent customer reviews, this campground is characterized by its scenic creek access, proximity to off-road vehicle trails, and a comfortable, peaceful atmosphere, making it a noteworthy option for local camping enthusiasts.
The environment of Park Creek Campground is frequently described as "amazing" and "nice," emphasizing its natural charm. One of the standout environmental features is its easy access to Clear Creek, a mountain stream with "nice, cool and clear" water, perfect for taking a refreshing dip. The campground's entrance via a bridge adds to its secluded and private feel. Situated within the Boise National Forest, campers can expect to be surrounded by the typical forested landscapes of central Idaho. The overall atmosphere is reported to be "extremely comfortable and peaceful," suggesting a tranquil setting ideal for relaxation. While one reviewer noted that the campground road can get dusty when UTVs are running, this seems to be a minor issue offset by the many positive aspects of the location. The area is also highlighted as "great," indicating a generally pleasant and scenic environment to explore.
In terms of services, Park Creek Campground offers basic yet functional amenities. Restrooms are described as "kind of low-rent (vault)," which implies they are non-flush toilets typical of many national forest campgrounds. However, a significant positive is that there is "plenty of toilet paper," suggesting that this essential amenity is well-maintained. The US Forestry Service is also reported to visit the campground often to check on things, contributing to the overall sense of comfort and security. Water is available via a "hand pump," indicating that campers will need to manually pump their water supply. It is important to note that there is "no power" available at the campground, so campers requiring electricity will need to rely on alternatives like solar generators, as successfully used by one reviewer. The campground is described as "open to trailers and tents," indicating its suitability for a variety of camping setups, although specific details on site sizes and potential restrictions are not provided.
The features of Park Creek Campground are particularly attractive to those interested in both water-based activities and off-road adventures. The easy access to Clear Creek is a major draw for swimming and enjoying the cool mountain water. This proximity to trails makes Park Creek Campground an excellent basecamp for exploring the Boise National Forest on motorized vehicles. The peaceful and comfortable atmosphere is a feature that appeals to those seeking a relaxing getaway in nature. The frequent visits by the US Forestry Service contribute to a sense of security and well-being. The open layout accommodating both trailers and tents makes it a versatile option for different types of campers.

It was amazing! Nice, private campground with a bridge entrance and easy access to Clear Creek to take a dip in the nice, cool and clear mountain water! I would highly recommend! Restrooms are kind of low-rent (vault) but there's plenty of toilet paper and the US Forestry Service comes by and checks on everything quite often, so it's extremely comfortable and peaceful and just perfect! There's also quick access to the mountain trails to ride UTVs and ATVs too! 😁🤙🏼
