Pat Kelley RV Park Introduce
For local users in the West Helena, Arkansas area searching for "camping near me," Pat Kelley RV Park presents itself as an option located at 1243 US 49. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of the campground based on the limited information available, primarily derived from recent customer reviews. It's crucial for potential visitors to consider these firsthand accounts when evaluating whether Pat Kelley RV Park meets their specific needs and expectations for a local RV camping experience.
The Environment and Setting:
Based on the customer reviews, the environment at Pat Kelley RV Park appears to have some notable aspects. One review mentions that the water hookup for their site was situated in a deep rut and was underwater for a significant portion of their stay due to rain. This same area was also noted to be in the vicinity of a neighbor's septic system. Additionally, the presence of open sewer drains on the property was reported to cause unpleasant odors and an abundance of gnats. These observations suggest that the drainage and potential sanitation infrastructure at the park might be areas of concern for some visitors, particularly during or after periods of rainfall. The proximity of the RV spots is also highlighted, with one reviewer stating that the sites were "super close together," leading to a lack of privacy and the ability to clearly hear neighbors within their own camper. This close proximity might be a consideration for those seeking a more secluded or spacious camping experience.
On a more positive note regarding the physical setup, one review mentions "full hookups with cement pads." This indicates that the RV park does offer essential utilities such as water, electricity, and sewer connections at each site, which is a significant advantage for RV travelers. The presence of cement pads suggests level and stable parking for RVs, which can contribute to a more comfortable setup. However, this seems to be the extent of the positively noted environmental or site-specific features.
Services and Amenities:
The reviews provide limited information regarding the broader services and amenities offered at Pat Kelley RV Park. The mention of "full hookups" implies the availability of essential utility connections for RVs. However, there is no information provided about other common campground amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, Wi-Fi access, or recreational areas. The absence of such mentions in the reviews might suggest that these amenities are either basic, not particularly noteworthy, or perhaps not available at all. Potential visitors should be prepared to be self-sufficient in terms of these needs or to inquire directly with the park management about the availability and condition of any additional services.
The phone numbers provided, (870) 995-1932 and +1 870-995-1932, offer a direct means of contacting the park to inquire about specific services, availability, and any relevant policies. Local users considering a stay are strongly encouraged to reach out and ask detailed questions based on their individual requirements.
Features and Considerations:
The primary feature of Pat Kelley RV Park appears to be its provision of full hookup sites with cement pads, catering specifically to RV travelers. The reviews also highlight its potential as a convenient stop for those "just passing thru," particularly when considering the price. This suggests that the park might offer a more budget-friendly option for short-term stays. However, the negative aspects raised in the reviews, such as the problematic water hookup, open sewer drains causing odor and gnats, and the close proximity of sites, should be carefully weighed against the convenience and potential affordability.
Another feature mentioned is the experience of a "loud crowd on the weekend." This indicates that the atmosphere at the RV park might vary depending on the day of the week, with weekends potentially being more active and noisy. This is an important consideration for those seeking a quiet and peaceful camping environment.
Promotional Information:
Based on the provided information, there is no specific promotional information available for Pat Kelley RV Park. The reviews focus on the firsthand experiences of guests rather than any advertised specials or discounts. Local users interested in potential promotions or pricing should contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers. It's possible that they offer different rates for daily, weekly, or monthly stays, or that they might have seasonal offers. Inquiring directly will provide the most up-to-date information on pricing and any available deals.
Conclusion for Local Users:
For local users in the West Helena area looking for "camping near me," Pat Kelley RV Park offers the fundamental feature of full hookups and cement pads for RVs, which can be advantageous for those traveling with recreational vehicles. The park is also noted as a potentially "great choice for the price," suggesting it might be a more economical option for RVers passing through the area. However, it is crucial to carefully consider the negative feedback from other campers. Issues such as water hookups in poor locations, open sewer drains causing unpleasant conditions, closely spaced sites, and potential weekend noise are significant factors that might detract from the overall camping experience for some individuals. Local users are strongly advised to contact Pat Kelley RV Park directly at (870) 995-1932 or +1 870-995-1932 to ask specific questions about the current conditions of the sites, the availability of amenities, and their pricing structure. By doing so, potential visitors can make a more informed decision about whether Pat Kelley RV Park aligns with their requirements for a local RV camping option.

Not great. Our water hook up was in a deep rut and underwater the majority of our stay (due to the rain) & in the same puddle as our neighbors septic.Open sewer drains on property caused bad odor and excessive gnats.Spots were super close together (we could hear our neighbors walking around in their camper).Loud crowd on the weekend.
Nov 27, 2024 · Savannah WilliamsFull hookups with cement pads, and that's it. Very close to your neighbors. But if just passing thru, it's a great choice for the price!!!

Dec 15, 2024 · Stephen DrennanI stayed there last night on way back from Fort Payne ,Alabama on my motorcycle. I tent camp and it was a great experience. The owners are great people. They are motorcycle people. They ride enduro's and Harleys..
