Owners took 2 years to fix roof, covered termite damage with a steel sheet, ceiling fan caught fire and they didn’t replace, ice maker was broken and they just gave up fixing it. Was told by the owners son (who doubles as “maintenance”) “how far did you have to chase the Ni—R to get them shoes”, James pierce sat outside my house harassing my guests for months (being extremely rude telling them they weren’t allowed at my rental, also running license plates to see who my guests are, placing cameras by the road to see who comes in and out) and the woman Jill told me it didn’t matter that I had an ESA and that I had to get rid of my emotional support animal (violation of FAIR HOUSING ACT) only to relax once she realized she could be sued. Pierce Mobile Estates & Travel Trailer Park Introduce

For local residents in the Williamston, North Carolina area (NC 27892, USA) seeking "camping near me" options, particularly those with travel trailers or potentially looking for longer-term mobile home sites, Pierce Mobile Estates & Travel Trailer Park located at 2295 Garrett Rd presents a local facility. Reachable by phone at (252) 792-6332 or mobile at +1 252-792-6332, this park appears to cater to both travel trailers for shorter stays and mobile homes for more permanent residency. To provide a comprehensive and objective introduction for local users, it is essential to consider the limited information available online, including the contrasting experiences shared in customer reviews.

The name "Pierce Mobile Estates & Travel Trailer Park" itself indicates a dual focus. The "Travel Trailer Park" aspect suggests that the facility accommodates recreational vehicles, likely offering designated spaces or hookups suitable for travel trailers and potentially other RV types. For local users searching for "camping near me" with a travel trailer, this designation is directly relevant. It implies the availability of sites equipped to handle the specific needs of RVs, such as parking space and possibly utility connections like electricity, water, and sewage. However, the extent and quality of these amenities would require further investigation.

The "Mobile Estates" part of the name suggests that the park also serves as a long-term residential area for mobile homes. This dual nature might influence the overall environment and the types of services available. Local users seeking short-term camping in their travel trailers might find themselves in a community with a more permanent residential base. This could offer a different atmosphere compared to campgrounds solely dedicated to transient travelers.

The provided customer reviews offer a stark contrast in experiences, which is crucial for local users to consider when evaluating Pierce Mobile Estates & Travel Trailer Park as a potential "camping near me" option. One review paints a highly negative picture, detailing significant issues with property maintenance, including an unaddressed roof leak for two years, concealed termite damage, a non-replaced fire hazard (ceiling fan), and a persistently broken ice maker. These allegations raise serious concerns about the management's responsiveness to maintenance requests and the overall condition of the facilities, at least for one long-term resident.

Furthermore, the negative review includes disturbing allegations of harassment by someone identified as "James pierce," including rude behavior towards guests, unauthorized license plate checks, and the placement of cameras. These claims, if accurate, would be significant red flags for any local user prioritizing privacy and the comfort of their visitors. The alleged violation of the Fair Housing Act regarding an emotional support animal by someone named "Jill" also presents a serious legal and ethical concern, suggesting a potential disregard for tenants' rights.

It is imperative for local users to consider these serious allegations when thinking about this park for their "camping near me" needs, even for a short stay, as the management and overall environment could be influenced by the issues raised. The review strongly advises against supporting the owners and warns against a lack of privacy and respect.

In stark contrast, another reviewer expresses a positive experience, stating they "couldn't have asked for a better place to stay." This individual highlights the cleanliness and friendliness of the park, as well as the attentiveness of the management in ensuring everything was okay. They also appreciated the quiet atmosphere, which made them feel at home while working away from their usual residence. This positive feedback suggests that some visitors or residents have had satisfactory experiences at Pierce Mobile Estates & Travel Trailer Park.

Given these widely differing accounts, it is challenging to form a definitive picture of the environment, services, and features without further objective information. For local users considering this location for their "camping near me" needs, a cautious approach is warranted. It would be prudent to contact the park directly using the provided phone numbers – (252) 792-6332 or +1 252-792-6332 – to inquire about the current state of the facilities, the services offered to travel trailers (e.g., hookups, site sizes, amenities like restrooms and laundry), and the management's policies regarding guests and pets.

Local users might also consider visiting the location in person, if feasible, to get a firsthand impression of the park's environment and the condition of the sites. Observing the general upkeep, the interaction between residents and management (if possible), and the overall atmosphere could provide valuable insights that are not available through the limited online information.

When searching for "camping near me" for a travel trailer, local users typically look for well-maintained sites with reliable utility hookups, clean and accessible amenities (restrooms, showers, laundry), a safe and respectful environment, and convenient access to local attractions or services. Pierce Mobile Estates & Travel Trailer Park's ability to meet these needs is unclear based solely on the provided information. The negative review raises significant red flags regarding maintenance and management practices, while the positive review suggests a satisfactory experience for at least one individual.

Therefore, for local users considering Pierce Mobile Estates & Travel Trailer Park as a "camping near me" option, thorough due diligence is essential. Direct communication with the management to address the concerns raised in the negative review and to ascertain the current services and policies is highly recommended. Additionally, seeking more recent reviews or testimonials from other travel trailer users might provide a more balanced and up-to-date perspective on what to expect from this facility.

In conclusion, Pierce Mobile Estates & Travel Trailer Park in Williamston, NC, is a local facility that appears to cater to both long-term mobile home residents and short-term travel trailer stays. While one review highlights significant negative issues related to maintenance and management, another describes a positive experience. Local users searching for "camping near me" for their travel trailers should exercise caution and conduct thorough research, including direct contact with the park, to determine if it meets their needs and expectations for a comfortable and respectful stay.
