Pigeon Forge / Gatlinburg KOA Holiday Reviews
My family and I are fairly new to RVing, having bought our first RV in August 2023. Since then, we’ve gone “glamping” at least once a month. We usually avoid traditional RV parks, preferring the natural feel of state and national parks, and we haven’t always been impressed with RV park service. But our Spring Break trip to Pigeon Forge led us to the KOA—and we were overwhelmingly satisfied. As Disney fans who’ve visited Fort Wilderness multiple times, we hold campgrounds to a high standard. While this KOA isn’t Fort Wilderness, it’s easily a new favorite. The genuine hospitality from every staff member, the pride in the park’s appearance, and the attention to guest experience really stood out. It’s clear this team understands what great service means—not because they’re told to, but because they take pride in their work. You expect this level of service at Disney, but rarely find it elsewhere. This KOA is the exception. When I sat down to write this review, I wanted it to reflect just how well we were treated. We truly can’t wait to come back.
Apr 21, 2025 · Devon NicholsPerfect location. Staff was amazing and accommodating. The pool is heated and was the perfect temperature, the lazy river was a bonus. The playground is awesome and has a train that runs in the mornings for the kids in the park. There's a trolly station next door that will take you nearly anywhere within pigeon forge/ Gatlinburg. Showers were clean and hot and the store had all sorts of items above and beyond what you would need camping. The laundry facility was nicely priced and open 24 hours which is perfect for me to do laundry after the kids go to bed. Highly recommend!
Mar 23, 2025 · Jessica StillingsAwesome camping ground. The only downside (which is no fault to the campground) is the amount of bee's! When we first checked in there were multiple wasp and nest and carpenter bee's on our cabin porch. They sent maintenance to try and get rid of them but we ultimately had to move cabins and they were very accommodating for that process! Very nice staff and good location.
Apr 29, 2025 · Aynthia DunmireAmazing KOA! The staff is very friendly and helpful but they also give everybody plenty of privacy and space. The lazy river is just wonderful. It was hot in early April and the kids were so happy they had cool water to play in. The hot tub is great for tired feet after a day of exploring the smokies and they even have a fireplace and good music playing by the pool. 10/10 recommend.
Apr 06, 2025 · Chelsea DunsheeThis is the biggest KOA we’ve visited. Tons of other campers- which is probably because the location is so awesome! Minutes away from lots of the area attractions - there is even a trolley stop so you don’t have to drive if you don’t want too. The playground was nice, but the zip line and cart train wasn’t working at the time we were there, which was unfortunate. The bathrooms were relatively clean and the grounds were well maintained. We got several text message reminders because other guests were leaving their laundry and not cleaning up after their dogs. Annoying to get the messages, but nice that they care.
