Reviews indicate that these accommodations are "super clean" and "looked cozy on the outside," with some campers having family members stay in them and being "very happy with the accommodations and ease when having babies and young children." This variety in lodging ensures that the resort can cater to a wide array of guest preferences within the "Camping Near Me" scope.
A notable service that contributes significantly to guest convenience is the on-site "little market" or "convenience store/tackle shop." Located in the resort reception, this store is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week. It is well-stocked with essential items such as condiments, candy, dairy products, and even meat, making it convenient for campers to pick up forgotten items or quick provisions without needing to leave the resort. This amenity is highly appreciated by guests, as highlighted in reviews. Additionally, the resort offers boat rentals and has a boat launch, which is a major draw for visitors looking to enjoy the lake. The presence of a clubhouse, suitable for cookouts and gatherings, further enhances the communal aspect of the resort, accommodating groups of up to 100 persons and featuring a wooden stove, full-size refrigerator, and wet bar, available for free to groups of 10 or more cottages and/or RVs.
The features of Pine Acres Blue Lake Resort revolve around its lake access and family-friendly atmosphere. Blue Lakes is known for being stocked with trout, offering good fishing opportunities. Beyond water sports, the resort is also situated near hiking trails, providing opportunities for land-based exploration. The overall atmosphere aims to be family-friendly, though some customer experiences suggest that service quality can vary. One review highlighted a "great time camping" and praised a staff member named Tamara for a "welcome we received," describing her as "what a novice lady!" This suggests that while there might be isolated incidents of negative interactions, positive customer service is also a strong characteristic of the resort. The resort also mentions a pet-friendly policy, though it's specified that "Pets are not allowed on beach area, as well as in rooms or day use. (Pets only in RVs.)" This clarifies the specific limitations for pet owners, ensuring a clear understanding for those searching for "Camping Near Me" and planning to bring their furry friends.
Regarding promotional information, Pine Acres Blue Lake Resort positions itself as a destination for families and those seeking a serene lakeside retreat with diverse accommodation options. The resort's website and promotional materials would likely emphasize its scenic location on Blue Lakes and the variety of activities available, from fishing and boating to simply relaxing by the water. One critical piece of information for prospective guests is the day-use fee for visitors. As mentioned in a customer review, there is an "$18 per person day fee," which can apply even to young children, as one reviewer noted paying for a "3 year old child." Official information from the resort confirms this, stating "Day use (including boat launch) is $18.00/person." This is an important detail for guests planning to have visitors during their stay, as it can significantly impact the overall cost. Additionally, the resort's operating hours, particularly for the office and market, are from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM, seven days a week, providing consistent access to staff and supplies. While some negative feedback exists regarding manager demeanor or opening times, the recurring positive comments about the beautiful views, peaceful environment, and the helpfulness of other staff members like Tamara, combined with the comprehensive amenities such as the market and boat rentals, provide a balanced view of what guests can expect from this "Camping Near Me" option in Upper Lake, CA.

Pine Acres Blue Lake Resort Reviews
Extremely rude manager and staff. Did not open on time, yelled at us for looking to see if we could launch a boat. Expected us to pay $18.00 for a 3 year old child. Will never give them our business again.
Oct 24, 2024 · Merilyn MWe had a great time camping here. The space we got had a great view of blue lakes. Waking up in the morning it is so peaceful with only the sounds of birds. I was very impressed with the welcome we received from Tamara what a novice lady!! They have a little market if you need condiments, candy, dairy products, and they even have meat. I highly recommend this place. If you have any guests coming to visit for the day keep in mind there is an $18 per person day fee ;). I’m not rating the rooms as I wasn’t in any of them but they looked cozy on the outside. I can say a few campers we spoke to had family members staying in them and were very happy with the accommodations and ease when having babies and young children.
Sep 27, 2023 · ambrosiathomsonWe had a family reunion here this last weekend and what a fabulous spot for a reunion. The were apartments for our elders, plenty of RV spaces and campsites for those with no RV. They even had day use for the people who stayed close by with a wonderful club house with a new deck …and of course Blue Lake. What a beautiful little lake. It was the perfect accommodations for our reunion of 214 people, and we definitely hope to be back in a few years. The people who run the resort are super nice and very accommodating. Very personable. It was an all around good time and great place to be
Jun 26, 2023 · Lisa MartinezThe manager...Tamara is awful, rude and uninviting. Spaces are cramped and you can't visit anyone for more than 5 minutes without her demanding you register for an ungodly amount of money. My friends said they'll never stay there again.. FYI news travels quickly in Lake County beware manager.
Apr 06, 2024 · Brian BechtolMy husband I, and extended family have been here quite times over the past couple years and we love it. We come here to swim, camp, BBQ and have fun during the summer. One of the best places to come for the day. Love the pier in the middle of the lake. Perfect place to dive and jump and have fun. Definitely want to come back if they’re open, not to mention the people that work there are complete sweethearts. Love them ❤️.
