It’s our first time here and we love it. The bathrooms are clean and appear to be newly remodeled. There are other campers here but it’s far from crowded. Quiet and peaceful. We arrived Sunday afternoon so The weekend might be more active / loud. You can see the River from the campground, and a trail runs through the grounds and along the water. We’ve seen deer, squirrels and birds. a couple of boat ramps, a beach, and a Children’s playground are walking distance. It feels like you’re out in nature, but are only a couple minutes from Eldora if you need groceries, gas, or want to catch a movie in town. We will come here again.
Jun 29, 2022 · Hurston PrescottStayed in campground. Very nice. Clean. Walking trails were easy. Enjoyed my stay.
Oct 12, 2024 · Kathy DeesClean restrooms, very nice campsites, cement roads but no parking pad - I was unsure at first where to put the camper. No check-in building, but reservations were posted at the gazebo and also at the site. Stayed on a Thursday night only, but it was very quiet.
Aug 05, 2022 · Kendra Krouskop-Smith KR0USKWe are here now renting a cabin, can't sleep very well here. The mice are so bad it's crazy. They are in the wood channels along the stone walls. I can hear them next to where I am sleeping. I went into Farm Fleet today and picked up some traps. Caught two already but can hear at least two chewing away now, one in sleeping area and one in kitchen. Wife seen one while in the bathroom come under the door and go straight under utility closet that is locked lol. Cabin looked clean when we showed up, I like the location, mice are off the charts though.
