Point Campground Reviews
Absolutely gorgeous campground. Crystal clear water. We just stopped by on our drive back from Stanley to Ketchum to put our toes in the sand and it was lovely. We plan on coming back to camp one day.
Sep 29, 2017 · Kaysie RozsonitsGreat beach, clean flushable toilets, & nice sites (tents only). Firewood available for purchase on site. The camp host (Rich & wife Connie) were awesome to deal with and make you feel welcome!
Aug 04, 2023 · Zack ZacharyNice Sandy Beach, clear water, shallow near the shore. Good place for young children to swim. Dock that allows you to meet up with your ski boat (no boat ramps.) Not a lot of shade so you should bring your own. Parking is $8 and since it is not a Idaho State Park, your sticker doesn't get you in. This place can be very crowded, especially on weekends.
Aug 17, 2019 · Cynthia HortonGreat (tent only) campground with water access/beaches on all sides. Beautiful views. Some car camping spots, some walk-in spots (they provide wheeled carts to help with getting stuff to your site.) Water spigots throughout campground. Flush toilets provided. Fire pits, picnic tables, stove stands, and nice tent pads at each site (some big enough for two tents, some not.) No soap or showers. Wood delivered to your site for $7 per big bundle if desired. Two parking spots exist for each site (one free, one $10 a day.) Good easy fishing for kids. Several hiking trailheads about .5 miles from campground.
Jul 16, 2020 · Melody KrenelkaThe campground was beautiful and it had flushable toilets. When we arrived we noticed we weren’t able to park along the camp we reserved. So, I walked along the trail and up a small hill to find our spot. I didn’t recall seeing on the website that we would have to carry all of our stuff to the campground. There were some helpful wagons. I felt it was misleading on the website when it only stated “walk in” When the camp host arrived to “check me in” he stated that legally he couldn’t let me stay because the reservation was in my boyfriends name AFTER I carried all our things up the hill to our camp. That also wasn’t on the website in the “need to know section.” After convincing him that it was paid with my card and here’s my order confirmation, he let me unpack until my boyfriend arrived. It was also incredibly loud with the parties on the beach and boats consistently speeding into the beach where we were swimming. There weren’t any buoys to slow the boats down close to the beach. Most likely won’t return to this campground.
