Pine Lake RV Resort Introduce
If you are looking for "RV Parks Near Me" in the Wagram, North Carolina area, Pine Lake RV Resort, situated at 32482 Hill Creek Rd, Wagram, NC 28396, USA, presents itself as a potentially appealing destination. The limited information available includes a few customer reviews that offer contrasting perspectives on the resort's environment and management interactions. To obtain a comprehensive understanding of Pine Lake RV Resort, including detailed information about its environment, services, features, and any promotional offers, local users are encouraged to contact them directly at (910) 544-9059 or +1 910-544-9059.
One reviewer describes Pine Lake RV Resort as a "beautiful place," emphasizing its quiet and peaceful atmosphere. This individual found the resort to be a "hidden gem" that was "well worth the drive and stay," even extending their visit. They also lauded the owner/manager as "wonderful," suggesting a positive initial impression and a satisfactory experience during their time there. This review highlights the potential for a tranquil and enjoyable retreat at Pine Lake RV Resort, with a seemingly attentive and welcoming management.
In contrast, another reviewer recounts a significantly less positive experience during an inquiry about monthly rental spots. This interaction began with a proactive approach from a woman on a golf cart who offered assistance upon the reviewer's arrival. However, the inquiry quickly turned into a series of personal questions and requests for documentation, including the year of the camper, a picture of it, details about pets (leash and vet papers), and ultimately, financial information such as pay stubs and a requirement to prove an income three times the monthly rental rate. The reviewer and their son reported feeling "belittled" and as though they were deemed "not good enough" to stay at the campsite based on these inquiries.
This particular account raises concerns about the screening process for potential long-term renters at Pine Lake RV Resort. While it is common for RV parks to have criteria for accepting monthly tenants, the nature and extent of the personal questions and financial demands reported by this reviewer appear unusual and off-putting. The reviewer's experience culminated in them deciding to leave without obtaining further information about monthly rates or availability.
The contrasting nature of these two reviews suggests that while Pine Lake RV Resort may offer a beautiful and peaceful environment, the experience of interacting with the management, particularly regarding long-term rental inquiries, could be inconsistent or potentially negative for some individuals. Local users considering a stay, especially for a longer duration, should be aware of these differing perspectives.
Based on the positive review, the environment of Pine Lake RV Resort likely features natural beauty and a quiet ambiance. The name itself suggests the presence of a lake, which could offer scenic views and potentially recreational activities such as fishing or simply enjoying the waterfront. The description of it being a "hidden gem" implies a somewhat secluded location, possibly away from major roads and urban noise, contributing to the peaceful atmosphere mentioned. The surrounding area of Wagram, NC, is situated in the Sandhills region, known for its unique landscape of rolling sand hills, pine forests, and numerous lakes, which could contribute to the natural beauty of the resort.
Information regarding specific services and features of Pine Lake RV Resort is limited. Typically, RV parks offer a range of amenities to accommodate both short-term and long-term guests. These often include:
- Individual RV sites with hookups for water, electricity (typically 30 and 50 amp), and sewer.
- Potable water access throughout the park.
- Restroom and shower facilities.
- Laundry facilities.
- Trash disposal services.
- Common areas for recreation, such as picnic areas or communal fire pits.
- Potentially, additional amenities like Wi-Fi access, a camp store, or recreational facilities like a playground or games area.
Given the positive mention of the owner/manager, it is possible that Pine Lake RV Resort prides itself on a personal and attentive approach to guest services, at least in some instances. However, the negative review highlights the importance of consistent and respectful interactions with all potential guests.
Promotional information for Pine Lake RV Resort is not provided in the given data. Local users interested in staying at the resort should inquire about daily, weekly, and monthly rates, as well as any special offers or discounts that might be available. It would also be prudent to ask about the specific amenities offered, the size and type of RV sites, and the park's policies regarding pets, visitors, and check-in/check-out procedures.
For local users searching for "RV Parks Near Me" who are considering Pine Lake RV Resort for a stay, whether short-term or long-term, it is recommended to:
- Contact the resort directly at (910) 544-9059 or +1 910-544-9059 to inquire about availability, rates, and amenities.
- Ask specific questions about the policies for monthly rentals, including any requirements for income verification or other personal information.
- Inquire about pet policies in detail, including any restrictions on breeds or sizes, and the rules regarding leashes and waste disposal.
- If possible, request to see pictures of the RV sites and the overall layout of the resort to get a better sense of the environment.
- Consider reading other online reviews from various sources to gain a broader perspective on the experiences of past guests.
In conclusion, Pine Lake RV Resort in Wagram, NC, appears to offer a potentially beautiful and peaceful setting that has been appreciated by some visitors. However, the reported negative experience during a monthly rental inquiry, involving personal questioning and financial demands, raises concerns that prospective long-term guests should be aware of. Local users searching for "RV Parks Near Me" should contact the resort directly to gather comprehensive information and ensure that their policies and practices align with their expectations and comfort levels before making a reservation.

Mar 25, 2025 · Diana BellahStop by there to check the place out & get some info. As i pulled over at the stop sign for guest to check in, a women came out drove over on her gulf cart to me asking if she could help me. Told her i was stoping by to check it all out & see if they had monthly rental spots, i was asked right there what year my camper was, had to show a picture of it. As i did she oh that's a nice camper. Asked if they allow pets, told her dogs, reply well do they have a leash? Well yes ma'am. Do you have vet paper's, yes ma'am i have there rabies tags & papers. I said well could you tell me how much for the month. Went in office to speak with a different women & some gentleman was in there. These two women in the office really belittled my son & I, acting like we wasnt good enough to stay there at there camp site. Asking all kinda personal questions, asking to see pay stubs & all. Telling us we had to make 3 times the amonth of the monthly rate. I sure saw where it was going, so just turned around & left. As i was walking out the 1 lady says Sorry.. No ma'am sorry for you. As you had no idea i was going to pay for 6 months up front.. I really truely don't like how people act like others arent good enough enough. I have never been to a camp site where they ask you personal questions like these 2 did to use today & i have stay at camp sites from NC to Fl..
Jul 11, 2024 · Lisa Floyd“Nice people”We paid for a FHU but didn't get a site w/ sewer, didn't notice right away but stayed and used dump station in morning since didn't want to move. Nice friendly folks, didn't realize the pool till it was closed, look big and clean. Don't expect fancy or whiny liberals here these are proud americans. Gave 4 stars only b/c we didn't get the PA discount due to the US OPEN (guess its a golf thing?) but she even said I know you aren't going since you are only staying one night. Killed me to pay $50 for a night here but I was safe and God Bless America !
Jun 13, 2024 · Nina MarieWe are getting ready to leave, but had to leave a review. It was a great getaway with large spaces. The owner is nice and easy to work with. Also staff members Gina and Tony are awesome! Super helpful and quick to respond. Very clean, and plenty of places to walk my dogs. If I had one critique I would say that the political flags and paraphernalia are unwelcoming no matter what affiliation you are. It was off putting to have their personal opinion all over. However I would stay here again.
Oct 28, 2022 · Jill Ann HindmanIf you love the outdoors but also close proximity to a city this campground is perfect! The campsite are large and have their own picnic table and fire ring. There is also laundry onsite - bring your quarters! There's a decent size man made like occupied by 6 ducks and during the cold months about a dozen Canadian geese. There are roughly 200 acres of land to explore. Tons of trails that are marked and lit with solar lights at night. I took my dog on walks every morning off leash. You can also take your side by side, 4 wheeler and golf cart down the trails as well. Want more? There's also a gun range! There is wifi in each cabin that you can access from the rv sites though I would recommend purchasing a wifi extender for an extra boost. There is an abundance of firewood available to purchase whenever you like and you bundle it yourself. The campground is mostly quiet and relaxing. There are several military residents, short and long term folks on site and repeat campers. All of our neighbors were beyond friendly and helpful when we encountered an issue with our camper (our fault). Vicki is so accommodating and flexible as our check out date was in the air due to my husbands job. There are two small towns we frequented about 20-25 minutes away - Aberdeen and Southern Pines. They have everything you need and more. Grocery stores, home improvement, restaurants, shops, bars, parks and more. Highly recommend this RV park if you love the outdoors lifestyle!
