Apr 04, 2025 · Andrea West CoastRustic, quiet, and secluded. Just what I wanted and needed to van camp for a long weekend. The owner and staff were super friendly and helpful. Even though the temperatures were very hot out, I kept cool in the shade on the patio and swimming in the pool. The owner is in the process of updating and upgrading the resort and she was even digging deep in a muddy hole herself to fix a broken water pipe. This place has a wonderful make-yourself-at-home kind of feel to it. I loved the solitude, treed campsites, stunning night sky, and access to trails.
Aug 20, 2023 · Gigi de JongPraeder was actually great! Nice parking spots for the RV's. Ours was very private! I admit, we didn't know about the nudist community right there along the entrance road (see the picture) - so we sat & laughed wondering what to do till we realized they were actually separate places & we just needed to drive. Fyi - Praeder actually mentions it on their website where you sign up!
Aug 08, 2024 · Bill PinegarFantastic rooms, cozy bed and soft pillows. All of the amenities were in great condition and we really enjoyed our time there. My son and I loved combing the Library for a book to read before bed. Can't wait to go back!!
May 31, 2023 · Cassandra TetzlaffI would love to give this place zero stars! The place was filthy and run down. Ants in the shower room, dirty floors and pool. The pool room has these bins and there was mice poop and shredded (eaten by mice) volleyballs. Outside, they have random crap EVERYWHERE. Empty propane tanks everywhere, raid and round up bottles scattered, broken chairs, grills and other lawn furniture, broken tether balls on the tether ball pole. A group of us went and we were the only ones renting campsites in the entire campground (it is mid October and the weather is cold and rainy). It was down pouring outside, so we all went to the lodge. We were in the lodge for 30 minutes when, Tracy the owner came over to notify us that if we wanted to spend anymore time in the lodge, we would have to pay. It was total BS and I do not recommend going here. Very run down and dirty outside and in the pool area.Do not go here!
