Pulltite Campground Reviews
Every time we travel to current river we stay here. It's state owned. Clean restrooms. Right on the river. Dogs are welcome on leashes. Small amphitheater open on the weekend evenings where you can learn a little about the river and the critters that live there. Small store on site with many things you might need. Large campsites. They also have an area for tent camping that is first come first serve. There is also and camp host on site.
Apr 30, 2025 · Jana WorrellThe camp ground was so clean and quiet. Very well maintained. Shower and bath facilities were much appreciated. We camped on the river side and could hear woodpeckers and the water running. We watched shooting stars from the river side. The fire pits have grates which is marvelous for making dinner.
Sep 09, 2024 · Whitney AustinExcellent campground with central access to major points along the Current River. It was very easy to make reservations online and find answers to any questions. Bathrooms and showers were very well maintained and clean. Mini store also onsite, albeit sparse. Camp sites were large and offered a pole (advertised as a place to hang a lantern, but we used ours to hang a trash bag), picnic table, and fire pit with grill grates. Sites on the river side also each seemed to have their own cut through down to the water.
Oct 14, 2024 · ErikaThis was a great campground I loved the weekend I spent there. But [BEWARE] of the racoons they ransacked my cooler and took all the food I had for my weekend, needless to say I had to go to the nearest town for food for the rest of the weekend, but other than that I can't wait to go back again 😀
Sep 21, 2024 · Jacinta PattersonDefinitely recommend this campground. I picked it originally because other sites were first come, first serve, days before the eclipse and this one had a few remaining reservable. It was nice mountainous drive to get there. All the appropriate road signs leading you there. The road leading to the campground has a lot of turns and can be considered a little narrow if you’re pulling a trailer. The paved roads on the grounds themselves are in good condition. There are at least three restroom buildings on the property that I saw. All clean and well maintained. Did not look/use the shower, so not sure what that looked like. Something else I didn’t utilize that was there was the amphitheater and office/canoe rental store.Check in @ 1300. Found my site easily, but had to head to the nearest convenience store to grab wood after realizing I wouldn’t find any on site. After I got back and began setting up, the camp hosts came by on their golf carts to great me. I can’t recall their name, but they were very welcoming. I’ve never been greeted personally like that at any other site. The site itself had a fire pit placed on a slab of concrete, picnic table, and pole w/ for whatever use you choose. Everything was in good condition. One of the things I liked was they posted the reservation on the site pole. Sites in my area don’t do that and it’s common to have site stealers despite having a reservation. It was a bit of a walk to a restroom from my site (31). About halfway from both. Water pump access all throughout the grounds. The river area is clean and water clear. The number one reason I always come back to the Current River is the clearness of the water. (I’m sure a lot of others due too) Quiet time past 2200 was appreciated.Check out @ 1300. We had access wood, so we dropped it off at the camp host camper and they said it would go toward a good cause.Overall, great site and experience. Sorry for forgetting your names, Camp Hosts.
