Androscoggin Lake Campground Reviews
Camped here over the weekend and can not say enough good things! It’s a nice quiet area but only 25-30 minutes from a city if you’re looking for a night out. Personally we loved how quiet the area was, a true escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The beach area is beautiful and never very busy. Access to the beach is walking distance away. Each site has a full hookup and price is very comparable to other campgrounds. Absolutely worth it. The owners are down to earth genuinely nice people. I can’t wait for my next stay!! Also love that this place is dog friendly!
Aug 29, 2021 · Stephanie RicciI stayed at this campground late in the season for two+ weeks while having work done on the lot I had recently acquired. Loved the peaceful walks with my dogs, and very friendly encounters with other campers and the owners. I was new to pulling a 5th wheel & owners helped to guide me into the campsite as well as hookup. I will definitely make arrangements to stay while building on my lot in the spring.
Nov 17, 2024 · Kerri BearBeen here almost yearly for the past five years, sometimes twice in a season, as tent campers. A lot has been done over those years to improve the sites/campground. Amazing lake views and beach!! Always have been treated fairly by the owner, seems like a laidback family oriented slice of Maine vacation land!
Oct 24, 2021 · christopher martinsOver the past 2 years I have stayed at 10 RV Resort/Campgrounds in Maine. This one, by far, is the most spacious I've stayed at. (5 stars). The campground is on the smaller side, quiet, and several very kind seasonal RV'ers. Little bit of a walk but, when you get there, it's a nice private beach. If you like fishing, kayaking, sailing, etc, this is your place. Will definitely be returning to this campground.
Aug 14, 2024 · Kevin StrumWhat a lovely campground nestled beautifully in the woods of Maine! The sites are spacious and there is privacy in between each site. The lake is pristine and calm. We kayaked every day! The hosts are so personable and responsive! We will definitely be back.
