Purdie Creek Campground Reviews
We stayed here for one night on our way South. New place, took a chance with not many reviews. Glad we stopped, I called an hour before they closed and she stayed at the office for us. Yes I did take pics in the restroom because they were one of the cleanest campground restrooms I'd seen. And actually soft toilet paper! Laundry machines arrived the next morning. Our only negative were the incredibly loud frogs or Spring Peepers in the pond behind us. We'd definitely stop again if on that route. We stayed in July 2022.
Apr 06, 2023 · Amy MueggenbergThis is an ok campground with what looked like a lot of full time campers. Unfortunately the staff and campers did not take care of the bathrooms. They were a mess every morning. There was hand soap in only 1 of 3 bathrooms and people left the doors open with the lights on over night so they were filled with bugs in the morning. Two out of 3 days someone went to the bathroom and didn’t flush. On the plus side, the site we had was level and faced the woods. It was easy to get to the campground.
Nov 09, 2024 · Craig NNice little campground in the trees. Level lots. Reasonable price. Very friendly owners would stop there again if I’m in the area.
Aug 14, 2024 · Peggy MatangosThis is a beautiful campground wkth amazing, communicative hosts! 4 full modern bathroom/showers available for us. All brand new.
Mar 10, 2024 · Charissa RubeyWe called the same day after having tire trouble on I55. They were very accommodating and took our info over the phone. Easy on and off the interstate and the spot we had was pull-thru. BEST showers ever! Laundry is a bit expensive, but brand new machines in a very clean facility. We have stayed twice on short notice and our stays were great.UPDATE: We stayed here again this year for an overnight and were just as pleased as the first time. The grounds are clean, gravel roads ane pads, but all very level and easy access. Good Wifi and great water pressure. Our site had two sewer cleanouts so I could empty all the tanks at once. If we are back through Grenada again, we wouldn't hesitate staying here.
