Quasky Veteran’s Memorial Campground

Veterans Memorial Park, 107 Linn St E, Quasqueton, IA 52326, USA

3.0
Nice quiet little town, roller dam, peaceful friendly campground. We were able to enjoy this peacefully for 2 months until our wrongfully labeled American bully got off his lead for 5 min, at which point the neighbor must have speed dialed the entire town that our dog was vicious and scary and that people couldn't walk down to the park so we needed to vacate because the city council called a meeting and it was just too much for them to deal with. Mind you I was in the camper and he didn't even bark while loose. Thanks quasky, we planned for the year but your right, another campground deserves the chance at the money!!! - Sara K

The first, more detailed review, while initially positive about the peacefulness and friendliness of the campground, recounts a negative experience related to pet policies and neighborly interactions. This reviewer mentioned that they were asked to vacate after their dog, an American bully, briefly got off its lead. The situation escalated quickly, involving neighbors and the city council. While this incident seems specific to the reviewer's circumstances and their pet, it does highlight the importance of adhering strictly to campground rules, particularly those concerning pets, and being mindful of interactions with fellow campers and local residents.
