Mar 29, 2025 · Derek McDWe love R&D Campground and it’s proximity to Doe Mountain recreation area. It’s a fantastic place to camp whether you have an RV or tents and the owners, Dennis and Rita, are awesome people! This quickly became our new favorite campground! We love the fact that we can literally get on the mountain trails directly from the campground! Also, John who manages the campground is amazing, helpful and super-kind. Can’t say enough great things!
Jun 19, 2022 · Lane HoukIf there were more stars I would be passing them out to R&D Campground. We travel for a living and have stayed in hundreds of campgrounds around America and this just be my favorite. It is small, which I love, the owners are extremely gifted at hospitality and have thought of every detail to make the stay comfortable. I felt downright spoiled by all the creature comforts provided in the pavilion. We had a mini family reunion and my family used the pavilion to visit and make dinner in. Everyone was so impressed. Very family and pet friendly. I cant wait to come back. Thank you for everything you do Dennis and Rita.
