Rainbow Springs State Park Campground Reviews
Staff is really nice and helpful. The camp ground itself is really clean and well maintained however they are pretty close together. We used camp site number six and it’s very close to the bathrooms and it’s right up against a trail so be warned that people will be taking the trails right next to you camping. The restrooms and showers are ok, I have seen worse and better. Could use some attention and maintenance. This is a quiet campground. People were very respectful of the time and other campers.
Apr 28, 2025 · ChrissyStaff is friendly, called to give us a code for the entrance, before arriving. A fairly small campground, but most sites are decent sized. Each site has a picnic table, grill, fire pit, and ours had posts to hang items or hammock. Foliage between our site #30. It is also across from the bathhouse. Dumpsters located at the entrance to the campground,at the check in office. Sites Marked well with smaller wooden stakes. I would have given a 5 star except the sites need some removal & trimming of dead foliage, and the water launch area needs some love & attention. It has piles of old plank wood and concrete. Also, they didn’t have any maps to hand out at check in. They had us take a picture with our phone. Not that it’s a super huge deal, but I don’t always want to use my phone to reference the campground, and or State Park. And we haven’t camped somewhere lacking mutt mitts. We always have some, but unfortunately some campers don’t carry them. Will make sure to post a few more pictures, of the areas I described.
Dec 16, 2024 · Lorigo if you can. clean sites, friendly staff, path to launch kayaks from the campground. kayaking here is amazing. the water is so vibrant and clear. there is a place to get out, stretch, grab a bite to eat and walk around before paddling back to camp. the sites are a little close together but overall good experience.
Apr 20, 2025 · Amber SweetlandWe had a great time for 2 nights at the tent only part of this campground. The ranger station was open daily and had all you needed and more. The staff was friendly and the spots were clean. We saw wild turkeys roaming as well. The kayak launch was super easy to use and only a short walk away.
Nov 08, 2024 · Ashley StoneFlorada is full of state parks, and the Rainbow springs state park is one of the best places. It's unbelievable. The place is very secure and cramping friendly. It has water and electric points for both charging the RVs and cooking. There is a londary, gift shop that sells gas cans and firewood for cooking. Free swimming spots with a very fresh water.
