Mar 27, 2025 · Campfires and CocktailsI have been to this campground several times within the past few years and every-time I just grow more and more disappointed with the ownership, the favoritism shown by the manager is absolutely insane. Some people are allowed to get away with anything they want to while others are under the rules of the campground, and it’s mostly the “full-timers” at the top of the hill. You can hear several of them playing loud music and overall just being loud even though there is a “quiet time” but I guess it doesn’t apply to them, I have also heard one of the individuals up there have an aggressive dog that has attacked other dogs but yet I’m not allowed to bring my well trained German shepherd that has never attacked anyone or anything. Along with there has been multiple times I’ve walked up there and they had their dogs off leash. It’s truly just sad, and a shameful management situation. When being a boss you cannot be a friend you need to be equal to everyone.
Apr 21, 2025 · Shanice JohnsonMy family and I stayed in the barebones cabin for two days. It is such a nice place. The bathrooms are the nicest campground restrooms I've ever seen. The employees here are so friendly and helpful. The playground equipment was everywhere, well maintained and very much appreciated by our child. We were a little too early for the Halloween path, but got to see a preview of how they go all out!! Would be cool to actually see it when it's ready. We really hope to have another opportunity to stay here and even a longer stay next time.
Sep 30, 2024 · Hannah HutchisonI have read a lot of the older reviews, and if you have as well hope you read this one to the end. I was there as a extended stay for almost 3 months, would have been longer, and my family and I all wish it could have been longer. Apparently in the last 3 years there has been a change of managers, and Mr. Dan is awesome, we had issues with a campsite we were on and Mr. Dan moved us as soon as he could. The staff that work there were all very friendly and helpful. My son had his best 13 year old summer there, playing in the pool, playing with other kids, for him it was awesome. There was nothing we didn't like. Summer months they have bands that come in and play Saturday nights, Family movie nights on Friday with free popcorn. They have ice cream and shaved ice on the weekends, a cafe with good pizza there. Only thing i would possibly complain about would be the fact that you have to pay for the foods right then and not charged to campsite, which I don't mind anyway because I think it could get too confusing, to do that with a campground that size. Mr. Dan is always trying to upgrade the campground. All in all I would say it is very nice. Off the main road, mostly wooded, most sites are under old growth oak trees, and pine trees, lots of wildlife (squirrels ), quiet. But I can not impress on you the amount of friendliness of the staff there and how well they treated us. If we ever go back to Maryland, we will be going back to Ramblin' Pines. LOVE THIS PLACE
