Known for its towering sandstone cliffs, natural bridges, lush forests, and winding trails, the Red River Gorge is a haven for hikers, nature lovers, and outdoor enthusiasts. The tranquility of being surrounded by nature creates a serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
Red River Gorge Glamp Camp offers a unique accommodation experience through its "glampers." Based on customer reviews, these are described as "cute little" and "pretty secluded," suggesting a sense of privacy and immersion in nature. One reviewer stayed in the "Red River Gorge Glamper," indicating that there might be different themed or named glamping units available. A particularly appealing feature mentioned was a little creek running behind the fire pit of at least one of the glampers, adding to the ambiance and providing a soothing natural soundtrack. The presence of a fire pit encourages outdoor gatherings and the enjoyment of evenings under the stars.
The services and features of the glampers at Red River Gorge Glamp Camp appear to be thoughtfully curated for comfort and convenience. Reviewers highlighted the inclusion of amenities such as mats for kids to sleep on the ground, charcoal for grilling, and even paper towels – thoughtful touches that can make a glamping experience much smoother. The presence of a refrigerator, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker further enhances the convenience, allowing guests to prepare simple meals and enjoy their morning coffee without roughing it completely. These amenities strike a balance between traditional camping and the comforts of home.
One reviewer mentioned the presence of an outhouse as the only drawback for their "city kids," while also noting that it was "absolutely perfectly clean." This is an important point for potential guests to consider regarding restroom facilities. However, the same reviewer also praised the "spacious" shower, indicating that a more conventional showering option is available. It's advisable for those with specific preferences regarding restroom facilities to inquire about the availability and type of facilities associated with their chosen glamper when booking.
Another significant feature mentioned is the lack of cell phone service at the location, which the reviewer framed as an opportunity for a "very quiet time." This can be a major draw for those seeking a digital detox and a chance to truly disconnect and immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. It's important for guests to plan accordingly for communication and navigation due to the limited or absent service.
Adding to the appeal of Red River Gorge Glamp Camp is its location directly across the street from a kayak service. This offers a fantastic recreational opportunity for guests to explore the waterways of the Red River Gorge. Kayaking can provide a unique perspective of the gorge's beauty and is a fun activity for individuals and families alike. The proximity of this service adds significant value to the overall experience.
Promotional information is woven throughout the positive customer reviews. The repeated emphasis on the "beautiful place," the "peaceful" atmosphere, the "cute little place," and the "extremely friendly" and helpful owners, Ken and Judy, all serve as strong endorsements. The fact that Ken and Judy are described as "willing to help with whatever they can" suggests a high level of hospitality and a commitment to guest satisfaction. The inclusion of thoughtful amenities in the glampers further enhances the appeal. Red River Gorge Glamp Camp positions itself as an ideal destination for families and those who enjoy outdoor adventures with a touch of comfort.

Red River Gorge Glamp Camp Reviews
Beautiful place tucked right in the Red River Gorge so the hiking trails are everywhere. So peaceful with nature all around you.
Sep 12, 2024 · eric kivelCan't say enough about this cute little place. We really enjoyed staying here for two nights on our vacation. Ken and Judy are extremely friendly, and willing to help with whatever they can. We stayed in the Red River Gorge Glamper. They are all pretty secluded, and ours even had a little creek running behind the beautiful fire pit. Ken and Judy thought of everything- mats for kids to sleep on the ground, charcoal, paper towels, its all there... The refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker proved to be a good addition as well!! My family's only complaint is the outhouse.. while I laughed, my city kids had a hard time adjusting 😅 Everything was absolutely perfectly clean, and the shower is spacious. There's no service here, so plan for a very quiet time. Directly across the street is the kayak service, which was so much fun. The trails are beautiful and the glamper was a nice relaxing place to come home to. I firmly believe that if we had needed anything, Ken and Judy would have had been happy to help us. We would absolutely recommend this glamper to families who like the outdoor adventures with some ammenities.
