Red River Hot Springs Reviews
This is such a lovely spot to unplug for a few days.My family and I got a cabin and while they are a bit rustic it suited our needs wonderfully. The people were sweet and honest with us about a loft being warmer due to the heat rising in the cabin before we ever booked it which I very much appreciate! The pool and tubs were great to soak in, no disappointments.I can’t speak for the food since we brought our own but it smelled amazing when they were serving it in the lobby. No cell service for us and no internet at the cabins provided the much wanted getaway we were looking for!Everything was just what we hoped for.We will definitely stay again🩷
Mar 10, 2025 · MemphisWe were looking for a high mountain rustic 2 night getaway for Valentine's Day. Their location is awesome however management is very poor. When we arrived the parking lot and driveway needed plowed along w/ the steps being shoveled into the resort. The women's bathroom needed soap n 1 stall needed toilet paper.(Was not replaced during our stay) The public showers were frozen up, the neat wooden tubs had gross floating debree. (This was NOT minerals) Beside having to shovel our own path to the cabin and having to make our own bed, (mattress and box spring was 1980's technology) Our cabin had propane heat- which my husband woke with a heavy head. He checked his oxygen level with his watch and it was low. He had a red face when he woke. This was dangerous, he had carbon monoxide poisoning. We decided to check out for our safety, asked for a refund for the second night and was denied. She argued with us about the heater working just fine, when we mentioned there was no carbon monoxide detector (we deliberately searched for one) she was adamant there was one. This "resort" has real potential however needs management and a lot of maintenance. Sadly we will not be going back.
Feb 16, 2025 · Kate AhlersThis is not a fancy resort, nor is it meant to be. Perfectly imperfect! Loved the rustic barrel hot tubs, pools were clean, water temps were perfect. Lovely location. Small bathroom, not conducive for changing but ample room in the changing / shower rooms poolside. Staff were friendly and helpful. We will def return!
Jan 03, 2025 · alice morseThe owners were really amazing. My boyfriend and I wanted to book here for our anniversary and they let us know they accidentally overbooked and helped us find other accommodations, but still let us use their hot springs. The lounge was nice and warm, and the tubs were hot enough for me and the pool was the perfect temp for my boyfriend. The place is set in the woods which are just beautiful and we really liked that it was in the middle of nowhere. I highly recommend staying here, I know we'll be back.
Nov 20, 2024 · Erin PooleCamping near Elk City and heard about Red River Hot Springs so we decided to go for a soak and relax. The drive to the springs is mostly paved until you turn off Red River road. A wide and well maintained gravel road leads you to the springs. The springs was terrific and the service was exceptionally. Bathrooms are clean and the pool water was perfect. Will stop by again.
