Red Top Mountain State Park Campground

Cartersville, GA 30121, USA

4.0
Wonderful campground. Facilities are clean and hosts are really nice. Pictures on GA state parks website are not up to date. There is a good chance you will get here and not have the site you think you booked. Currently a pine beetle infestation in they are trying to handle so lots of dead and downed pine trees and brush piles. Some sites are very close to these piles. In the winter this doesn’t matter (best time to be here anyway) but in the summer I can imagine this is a critter issue. Over all great campground with great trails within walking distance. - Luke Simmons
